You felt so conflicted. Part of you was screaming to go after Jack and Hiccup but another part desperately wanted to stay with Baron. Together. In your own little piece of infinity...

'(Y/N)?' Your eyes fluttered open, falling onto Baron's form as he sat in the chair beside your bed. You'd offered to share, even if it did sound awkward... But he'd refused, claiming that you needed to recover.

'Yes?' You said groggily, moving into a sitting position as you wiped your messy hair out of your face. Baron smirked a bit. You raised an eyebrow. 'How bad is it?' You motioned to your hair.

'Beautiful.' Baron pursed his lips thoughtfully. You rolled your eyes. Baron's cheeks seemed to tinge red. '(Y/N), about last night... I'm sorry I over-whelmed you like that and I'm sorry you thought I was-'

'Shh.' You put your finger to his lips, silencing him. He smiled at you and you leaned in, eyes fluttering closed. Baron did the same, hand catching your neck and pulling you closer. Your lips touched his softly.

And then the door opened.

'Baron!' Astrid ran into the room. You jerked away from the boy but not before she noticed. Her cheeks turned a dark shade of crimson. 'Sorry this is really important.' She said.

'It's ok.' You smiled. Her gaze fell on Baron and for a second she didn't speak, completely stunned by him. You rolled your eyes, no longer annoyed at the gaze. When Baron's forehead creased, Astrid spoke. 'I need to talk to you.' She said quietly.

'About what?' Baron seemed startled.

'Uhh...' She glanced at you quickly, biting her lip. 'Can we go outside?' You felt fear building up within you at the words, mind going to the worst possible scenarios. 'It's Jack and Hiccup, isn't it?' You could barely speak. Astrid didn't say anything.

'Isn't it!' You demanded.

'If it helps, they're ok?' Astrid squeaked. Baron sighed. 'I'll be right back, (Y/N).' He smiled comfortingly and then he stood up, following the girl out of the room. As the door clicked shut you jumped up, ignoring the dulling pain in your side. You still felt nauseous but you finally had the energy to move around comfortably.

You spied a window, rushing towards it. You pushed it open and grinned. Beside the window was a tree, a branch conveniently near you. You rushed back inside, grabbing what little you could find in the room and shoving it in a bag before jumped onto the windowsill and stepping out.

You sighed. You'd been walking around in the forest for an hour before you'd even realised that this might have been a bad idea. You couldn't help yourself, though, because you were so worried about them.

You groaned, flinging your bag on the ground as you sat on a rock. 'Why can't I find them!' You yelled in frustration.

You can. Oh great, creepy voice in your head again.

'Pitch what do you want?' You growled.

I'm not Pitch. The voice said softly, sounding more feminine by the second.

'Where are you?' You asked, looking around you. All you could see was trees, mud and yourself.

Beside you. The wind whistled through the trees, casting an eerie silence through the clearing. You glanced beside you. Nothing. Just more rock.
Look harder, my dear, for I am here.

'But I can't see you.' You whispered in frustration. 'How do I even know you're real?'

You know I am. I can feel it. You have the power of spirit, my dear, and you can see the dead. Now look harder! The voice was forceful, yet hopeful. You focused on the rock beside you, squinting your eyes like it would help you see this 'person'.

'I can't do it.' You groaned after a while.

'Yes you can.' This time the voice wasn't in your head. It came from right next to you, yet there was still nothing. 'You need to believe! Like you believe in Jack and Hiccup... Like you believed Baron could change.'

And as she said this pale figure shimmered next to you, suddenly appearing like she had always been there. Her skin was wrinkled, old and she looked tired. Her eyes were hollow as she looked at you, a wide smile plastered on her face.

'You did it.' She smiled.

'Yeah.' You were breath-taken, 'I guess I did. Who are you?'

The old women sighed. 'That man you met in the park before you were kidnapped?' She seemed to smile slightly. 'That was my husband.'

You smiled, easily believing her. 'So what-'

'No!' She said forcefully, holding up her hand. 'Your friends are in danger! I need to show you where they are right now! Before it's too late.'

You felt hope and fear build within you. 'Show me.'
