The winter spirit stared at you wide-eyed. 'What are you-' If it was possible his eyes widened more and he charged at you, tackling you to the ground as heat blazed around you. Fire blazed around the rock, around you, and if it weren't for Jack you realized you probably would already be dead. You felt like every bone was on fire despite the fire not actually touching you.
'Thanks.' You realised Jack was above you, staring down at you with a cocky smile on his face. 'What?' You grinned.
'I'm looking at a beautiful girl.' Jacks lips tugged up at the corner but you could tell from the look in his eyes he was being sincere.
The dragon roared, a deep ear-splitting shriek that shook the entire cave. Your eyes widened as Jack quickly stood up, grabbing you and pulling you next to him. 'What are you doing here!' He demanded, suddenly realizing that you were actually there.
'I was worried-' You sighed, 'And Jack... there's something I need to tell you.'
'Me too.' Jack held a finger up to his lips. You raised an eyebrow. He bit his lip. 'I've decided what I want in return for winning that bet.'
You looked at him in disbelief. 'Now is so not the time.' You stated. He nodded. 'I know but-'
'Jack!' Hiccup's voice echoed through the cave.
'Hiccup?' You whispered to Jack harshly, 'Where is he?'
Jack looked nervous. 'Well I was kind of working on saving him...'
'Saving him!' Your stomach lurched.
'Yeah... turns out dragons keep people in cages for lunch.' Jack ran his fingers through his messy hair. You heard the sound of the dragon walking towards you, along with horrific roars.
'Here's the plan.' Jack stated. 'I distract. You save Hiccup.'
'Wait-' But he had already disappeared. You heard the howl of anger from the dragon, threatening to shatter your eardrums and then the footsteps were fading. Jeez this cave must have been bigger then you thought. But even as you crept away from the rock you caught sight of the dragon. It was bright red, the colour of its flames, with sharp protruding horns and the most magnificent wings you could ever imagine. It's back was lined with sharp spikes leading down to its spiked tail that could kill you with a flick. Its legs were muscular, strong, and you could tell it was a beast built to kill as your eyes caught sight of the sharp talons on its feet. The dragon was terrifying yet amazing.
'(Y/N)?' You could hear the surprise in Hiccup's voice as you looked up and saw him dangling from a cage hanging off the edge of a suspended rock platform.
'Shh!' You bit your lip, silencing the boy and you took off, sprinting towards the rock face. You reached it quickly, searching for a hand hole. You found one, placing your hand in it and hauling yourself upwards. Immediately, pain soared through your side and you gritted your teeth, refusing to acknowledge it. You climbed until you were nearly at the top. You refused to look down, afraid of what might happen if you did...
You looked up for another hole only to find the surface smooth and slick, not something you could climb on. Your eyes spied a tiny crack above the slick surface and you reached for it, missing it by millimeters. You frowned, biting your lip. You were going to have to jump.
You took a deep breath. All these thought of death raced through your mind. But you couldn't wait for the dragon to come back... And you couldn't leave Hiccup... You counted.

And you jumped. You nearly screamed, stopping yourself as your hand wedged into the crack. Your legs worked frantically, trying to find a foot hole. You felt yourself slipping. You weren't going to make it. You were going to die.
And then you found one.
You breathed out a sigh of relief and continued climbing, trying to ignore your sweaty palms.
You reached the top of the ledge, climbing over the top and collapsing on the hard rock. You had made it. You were alive.
'(Y/N)!' Hiccup whispered harshly. Your eyes darted open and you immediately got up, running over to his cage.
'What happened to you?' Hiccup was covered in sweat and dirt and his clothes were torn. You could tell from the expression on his face that you probably didn't look much better. You grinned, reaching for the cage.
Thankfully the dragon didn't lock it from the outside, either because it was stupid or because it thought no one would get up the ledge. Probably because it was stupid, you thought as you yanked it open.
Hiccup immediately ran at you, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into a hug. '(Y/N).' he whispered your name. 'I'm so glad your ok!'
'Great.' You looked down at you side as Hiccup pulled away. Your shirt was stained red but you couldn't feel any pain. That was weird...
'It doesn't hurt.' You whispered as Hiccup looked at your side in worry.
'We need to get that blood.' He whispered.
'But how?' Hiccup led you over to the edge and you both started climbing down. 'I don't know.' He admitted. You sighed, praying that Jack was ok and worrying about how you were going to tell them about Baron.
You dropped the last few meter, landing on your feet.
'Run!' Jack's voice echoed through the cave. You glanced at Hiccup. His eyes widened and then he ran, pulling you with him. You followed, hot on his heels as you ran towards the mouth of the cave. The dragons cries echoed behind you, getting closer.
You burst outside, sunlight blinding you. You squinted, running towards the shore.
'Morgan!' You yelled.
'Really, another guy?' Hiccup joked.
'He's a turtle.' You weren't in the mood for jokes but you did crack a smile.
Morgan's head appeared on the shoreline, beckoning for you to come. 'C'mon!' He yelled, 'Hurry!'
You heard a sickening roar and then Jack burst out of the cave, the dragon right behind him. 'Holy snowflakes!' He yelled as he dodged a flame.
You all raced to Morgan, diving beneath the water and grabbing his shell. Without a second thought, he sped off into the ocean and you heard the sickening roar of the dragon behind you. You breathed a sigh of relief.
'He won't follow us will he?' Jack asked.
'No.' Said Hiccup, 'He's bound to the island.'
You smiled, glancing over at the boys. Jack had a massive smile on his face. It seemed to widen when your eyes locked with his. 'What?' You asked. He held up a tiny vial of dark liquid. 'I got the cure.' He grinned.
