Dear diary,

Oh, this is nerve wrecking. I just sent him a message a few minutes ago and went offline. I haven't checked my phone ever since, afraid of the reply he would give me. What did I sent? Here, let me write it down.

Dohui: hey jun! So, um, yeah we're friends and everything now but I really want to get to know you. You're being stubborn about, as usual, and might even apologize but I want us to become better friends. We started off at the wrong foot, now let's make up for it. Please, at least try? I'm willing to do that too.

I'm really nervous. The entire time I was away from my phone, my head kept making guesses on what his replies would be. My main bet is on the words "it's fine" ... "I'm sorry" ... "I really don't want to bother". GEEZ, JUN, I'M TRYING. CAN'T YOU AT LEAST RETURN THE FAVOUR?

When it comes to Jun, for some reason, I can't speak my mind. It's like he continues to send fogs into my mind and everything turns unclear. With him, I'm never sure.

Okay, it's been nearly thirty minutes. He should reply by now. I need to go check it out and honestly? I'm really nervous. Let's see where this will go.

Dohui: okay, jun, I'm going to be real frank with you. I'm jealous. Okay? Jealous that you and your actual friends are friends with you and when I'm trying my best to become like one of them, it's like you don't want me to. Dohui: again with "I didn't want to bother you". You know what? I do want you to bother me. Because that actually makes me think we're friends. Friends don't text each other two weeks after the last one, jun. They freaking text each other probably everyday, talk abt literally ANYTHING because they're FRIENDS. Jun, I'm trying. You once said "I feel like I'm the only one trying in this relationship" well I'm sorry that then I was nothing but oblivious. Now I understand how you felt back then. Now I want to try to make things right

Jun: I'm so sorry. I... I understand now. I was just really confused and scared that I ticked you off. I now see that I was thinking it the wrong way. First of all, what's your name?

Dohui: thank you. Let's start it off. Hi, I'm Baek Dohui, but you can call me Mandu. What's your name?

Jun: mandu? Why mandu?

Dohui: it's been my nickname since a very long time ago. I ate mandus almost everyday, almost every time. Thus, I gained the nickname. Now, what's your name?

Jun: I'm wen junhui. I'm Chinese, not Korean like you are.

Dohui: ㅎㅎㅎ I knew that. Nice to meet you!

Jun: let's chat another time, I don't feel like bothering you this time

Dohui: I thought I made myself clear, wen junhui

Dohui: look, I came from chundak. Things work differently from here and I know that now. No one ever considered "texting each other constantly" as being a bother or nuisance. Instead, I get bothered about not texting each other constantly. I'm not like girls here, remember that

There. I got to see the Jun I used to know. Or at least the Jun I first met.

Dohui: aish, just tell me if you have something you need to do or go to right now because I would understand. No need to go all alien language and saying "I just don't want to bother you" kay?

Dohui: aww, is jun mad that I'm lecturing him?

Jun: K

Jun: nah just a prank bro

Jun: I'd never stay mad at you :p

Dohui: oh freak, I HAVE HOMEWORK!! I HAVE TO GO DO IT FIRST, CHAT WITH YOU LATER!!

I can safely say that I have marked my ground and told him everything so he has understood. If he's still not acting the same and still acts all distant to me, I'll tell him again. I'll get it into that stubborn boy's head until he finally gets it.
