   Y/N'S POV

  "Rick, you do realize that no woman will ever date you, when you act like that, right? I just wanted to let you know ahead of time, before you get your hopes up."

  Rick looked over at me and rolled his eyes, while he said,"Lieutenant, you really are special, aren't you?"

  I smiled at first but pouted saying,"Hey, watch your tone, Flag!! I will tell my mother."

  Rick chuckled and refilled his rifle saying,"Always the same comeback. Every time. You never change, Y/N, and I like that about you. I do have to meet your mother in a few minutes, so are you coming along?"

  I smiled and nodded, before Rick drove us to where my Mom's office was. Once we arrived, I sat in her chair, while she talked to Rick.
  Rick's eyes landed on me, before he looked back at my Mom and continued to talk to her.

  I became curious, before Mom motioned for me to follow her.

  I did and asked her,"Everything okay? Please do not tell me I have to stay here again."

  Mom shook her head and said,"Everything is fine, but Rick tells me that you were hesitant the last time you went out on an assignment and I do not know whether you should continue doing this."

  I could tell even though my Mom held the words back, she was extremely worried and did not want to lose her daughter. A few days ago, Dad was injured badly and Batman ended up saving his life. My mother and Batman did not see eye to eye, but they were both happy that he pushed through and Batman had shown up when he did.
  I thanked Batman, but he waved it off and mentioned how he was returning a favor for my Dad. I had been a fan of Batman ever since, well I was one way before that moment, but it did make my Mom get off his case. For that, Batman seemed very grateful.

  I took her hand and said,"Mom, I will be fine. Plus, Flag has my back. Nothing has changed. If I get hurt, then it is obviously Rick's fault. Okay?"

  Mom chuckled, while Rick grunted and waited for us to finish our conversation. I said what I needed to say to Mom, before she hugged me and wished us both "Good luck."
  Rick led me out to where the team was, before Harley squealed and rushed over to me, hugging me.

   HARLEY'S POV

  I was bored with these bozos, and I was wondering when Y/N was going to show up! Geez, how long did a woman have to wait?!! If ya did not know me, I am Harleeen Quinzel, but ya can call me Harley!!
  My Puddin', Mista J, rescued me and no one was going to take him away from me! I soon started daydreaming about Mista J and I, before I was brought out of my pleasant thoughts by hearing a SUV pull up.

  I turned and saw Y/N, before I squealed and rushed to her, hugging her.

  Y/N laughed and smiled, while I pulled away from the hug and said,"What took ya so long? You left me with these idiots!!"

  Y/N giggled replying,"I am sorry, Harls. I had to talk to Mom and make sure she was okay with this. I am a grown woman, but I do not want her putting some device on me, too. She would not do that to me, right?"
