The media is always on your back and all you're worried about is Hal and your closest friend's safety. This Hal Jordan x Reader is based off Taylor Swift's song "Ours."

   HAL'S POV

  "Hey, Hal, what are you thinking about?"

  Flash leaned over my seat, and I answered him,"Y/N. I just...miss her. It's been 11 months and 9 days, Barry, and I'm worried about her. I've never been gone this long, since I've been with her."

  Flash smiled back and put his hand on my shoulder saying,"I am sure she is doing great and enjoying some girl time with her friends! Women like to go shopping, which is not so easy to understand."

  I laughed and agreed with Barry, before he sat back down in his seat and Batman said,"We have some time before we land back at home, Hal. Why don't you call her?"

  I thanked Batman for the idea, before I called Y/N. I hoped she was near her phone or did not let it die again, like she had a tendency to do from time to time.

   Y/N'S POV

  I sighed, as I continued to stare up at the ceiling. I really was bored out of my mind. I would read, but I had read every book in this house at least 7 times already. Normally, Hal would be here to make me laugh or talk about him when Barry tried to annoy him. That always made my day.
  Hal had been gone for 11 months and 9 days, which was anything but easy for me. Everyone that saw us together claimed that Hal cheated on me, but I knew he was still out with the League. Hal was not that type of guy that would cheat on someone he loved; especially, since he had always had my back.

  I knew many girls said that about their boyfriends and it turned out to be a lie, but I was 100% sure that Hal was faithful. Speaking of Hal, my phone started ringing, and I immediately picked up the phone.
  When Hal's voice came over the phone, I became overjoyed and felt somewhat better already.

  Hal asked me,"How are you holding up?"

  "Not good. Hal, how much longer are you going to be gone?"

  "About another few days or so...We are almost back to Earth, but it will take a while for our systems to get generated again."

  I was completely devastated by Hal's answer, because I really wanted him here now. I did not answer back and held the phone away from me, before I let my tears fall and did my best to hold in the sob that wanted to come out so badly.

  Hal asked me,"Baby, are you okay? Y/N?"

  I answered back,"I...I am just fine. I hope you make it back, okay. I...love you."

  Hal sighed over the phone saying,"I love you, too, baby girl. I love you, too."

  Hal hung up the phone, before I figured now was a good time to get the crying out of the way and sleep after.
  I was woken up to feeling someone shaking me. Barry Allen was the someone shaking me. If Barry were here, then that meant...

  I immediately smiled, and he asked me,"Do you want to see him or not? I have to meet Iris in 15 minutes."

  I nodded and could care less that I was in pajamas, before I kissed Barry's cheek multiple times in thank you and nodded. Barry smiled, before he ran me out of the house.
  In a matter of seconds, we were at the Hall of Justice. Barry put me down, before I immediately ran up the stairs, in my slippers, and ran into Batman.

  Batman smiled, while I apologized and he said,"It's okay, Y/N. Hal is in the library. It is nice to see you."

  I smiled and gave Batman a quick hug, before I raced down the hallway and made it to the library. Martian Manhunter sent me a nod and a smile, before I smiled back and looked around for Hal.
  Someone tapped my shoulder very lightly. Before I could hit anyone, I realized Hal was behind me. I attacked him in kisses, while he tried to maintain his balance. That didn't stop him from gladly accepting my kisses.

  Hal pulled me closer and pulled away saying,"I missed you so much, Y/N."

  I smiled and hugged Hal's neck saying,"I missed you, too. NOW WE CAN GO SHOPPING?!"

  Hal groaned, before I kicked his leg. Hal brushed his shirt and laughed it off.

  I rolled my eyes, before he kissed my cheek and wrapped his arms around me saying,"You are so beautiful. I love you."

  I knew exactly what Hal was doing, but I just kissed his nose saying,"I love you most."

  No matter what Hal liked to do or not, the only thing that mattered to me was that he was with me now. 11 months and 9 days was a long time to be apart from Hal. My Hal Jordan...
