   Y/N'S POV

I did my best to walk with my head up high, not wanting to give away the fact that I just found my soon-to-be husband with my now ex-best friend. I didn't want to do anything else but see my father, Bruce Wayne. The best father in the world (to me).

Once I made it to his office, Dad was talking to Uncle Lucius. I ran to Uncle Lucius and hugged him.

He returned the hug and laughed saying,"Always a pleasure, Ms. Wayne. I will leave to allow you and your father to spend time together. Just the two of you."

I pulled away from the hug and watched Uncle Lucius leave, before Dad said,"I didn't get a greeting like your Uncle Lucius did."

I hugged Dad's waist and buried my face in his suit saying,"Dad, I'm here to see you."

"I see that, Y/N, but you only come to see me this early when something is wrong. What's wrong?"

Dad lifted my chin and looked me over.

I gently pushed his hands away saying,"I was hoping we could talk about it over lunch? I haven't eaten all day."

Dad just gazed at me for a moment, before he took my hand leading me to my favorite diner right down the street.

Dad held open the door for me, and I shyly said,"T...Thanks."

He nodded and replied,"No problem, honey. Where do you want to sit?"

I pointed over to my favorite booth near the window and pulled Dad over to it to sit. I went to sit down across from him, but then I sat down beside him. I ordered our food and drinks, as to which Dad just smiled at me.

  I said,"What?"

He shook his head and replied,"You remind me a lot of your mother...before she left."

His face fell, and I took both of his hands saying,"She was crazy for leaving you, Batman. You still have me, and I will always need my father. We're in this together. Right?"

Dad smiled at me and said,"Right. Now, what's going on? Something happen with Junior?"

I nodded and then sighed explaining,"Yes. I went over to see him and he was with Kayla. It was far from friendly, Dad, and I just wanted to let you know that there won't be a wedding anymore."

He squeezed my hands and immediately asked me,"Is there anything I can do?"

I looked him in the eyes saying,"A daddy-daughter vacation. Just me and you. I want to spend as much time with you while you're not busy."

Dad sent me another smile and nodded saying,"That can be arranged. Anything else?"

  I replied,"Ice-cream. Lots of it."

He chuckled and pulled me into his embrace, holding me as tightly as he could. Even though he was strong, I always cherished just how much he cared. Mom left and had no problem leaving me with Dad, but it was the best decision she ever made.
