Question: Why do people always have to compare DC and Marvel to each other?

   Y/N'S POV

  After Jason left this morning, I could not stop thinking about him. Luckily, his girlfriend, Rose, had not shown up and started anything with me yet. I doubt Jason would tell her he was here. 
  Rose was the girlfriend that would start a fight in a minute, if she did not get her way. How Jason ended up with her, I would never know. Anyway, I was supposed to be trying to get my mind off Jason, so I just fixed myself a sandwich. I should have eaten some breakfast food, but who cared.

  I made my way out of the kitchen and put my sandwich inside my mouth, before the doorbell went off. I realized it was about time Jonathan got back home from work.
  I opened the door and there he was. He chuckled at the sandwich sticking out of my mouth, before he kissed my nose and walked past me.

  I smiled and closed the door, before Jonathan jogged up the stairs. I sat down on the living room sofa and just looked out of the window, before I felt someone lay down on top of me.

  I groaned and said,"Baby, you are lying on the rest of my breakfast. Jonathan..."

  Jonathan moved over and I lost my appetite, before Jonathan buried his face in my neck.

  He apologized saying,"I'm sorry, Y/N. Forgive me?"

  I nodded and intertwined my fingers with Jonathan's, before he asked me,"Have you been thinking about him, babe?"

  I looked down at Jonathan confused and asked him,"Thinking about who, Jon? I only-"

  Jonathan sat up and said,"Don't finish that sentence, Y/N. Don't even bother. You know who I am talking about."

  I figured out Jonathan was talking about Jason, so I truthfully said,"Well, yes, but because he came to see me. Jonathan, it is not like that. Let me explain."

  Jonathan got up saying,"No. It is obvious you love him, Y/N. I know you care about me, baby, but it hurts to know that I am not the one who fully has your attention. This...this is not going to work out anymore. I am sorry, Y/N. I really am."

  I frowned and tears formed in my eyes, before I grabbed Jonathan's arm saying,"No. Jonathan, please. Look, I can make it up to you. We can..."

  Jonathan gently pushed my hand away and grabbed his things, before he left. By the way he left so quickly, he was planning on leaving at some point. By some point, I meant today or tomorrow.
  I sat down on the sofa and let my tears fall, because I really did love Jonathan.  He was also right about Jason. I turned and jumped at seeing Batman.

  Batman frowned at seeing my tears, before I wiped my face and said,"J...Jonathan broke up with m...me. I would ask how you got h...here and how long you have been there, b...but it does n...not matter. What is it?"

  Batman said,"I need you to come with me. It's Jason."

  I immediately asked,"What about Jason? Is he okay? Bruce, what is it?"

  Batman held out his hand and I took it, before he brought me to the Batcave.
  Once we got there, I noticed Jason on a table. I immediately rushed over to the table and noticed his wounds.

  Batman took off his mask and asked me,"You think you can help him?"

  I nodded and Bruce sent me a grateful smile, before I began to clean Jason's wounds. I tended to them the best I could. Some were worse than others, but I just needed to make sure that Jason would end up in the best shape as possible.

  Once I was done, Bruce asked me,"Do you want to tell me why you were crying earlier?"

  I shook my head and said,"No, I would rather not, Bruce. No offense, but I would rather not remind myself."

  Bruce was giving me a hurt look, but I was trying my hardest not to cave in and tell him why I was crying.

  I turned away from Bruce and rolled my eyes saying,"Fine. Fine, I will tell you. Jonathan broke up with me, because he knew I had been thinking about Jason lately. His thinking was not entirely wrong. Yes, I have been thinking about Jason, but not in the way to dump Jonathan for him. Bruce, I...I know it is not my place to know what Jason talks to you about, but has he told you anything about me or the two of us? Like where we stand?"

  Bruce thought about my questions and answered me,"Well, the other day he told me about how he ended up staying with you for a while, and he said he missed that feeling of being around you and protecting you. He, even went as far as telling me he was going to break up with Rose."

  I looked at Bruce in shock and asked him,"Why would Jason do that? He actually likes her."

  Bruce chuckled and smiled warmly at me saying,"Jason would do that, because he loves you, Y/N. There is a reason Jason comes to you almost every time something happens to him. Think about it: Jason gets hit about a couple of yards away from the hospital, but he always manages to find his way to your apartment. In a way, I am glad he does come to you, because you need him just the same."

  I smiled back at Bruce and noticed Jason waking up, before Bruce patted my shoulder. He then gave it a squeeze before he left. Bruce would leave me alone with Jason.

  Jason slowly sat up and said,"Hey, Y/N. Thanks for taking care of me. Again."

  I nodded and smiled at Jason saying,"You are welcome, Jay. You would be pretty helpless without me."

  Jason smiled back and said,"I know. Y/N, there is something I need to tell you."

  I walked over to Jason and leaned in slowly, before I placed a kiss on his lips. Jason tried to kiss back, but I pulled away too soon for him to respond.

  I chuckled and smirked saying,"If I did not know any better, I would say you love me, too. Was that my imagination just then?"

  Jason pulled me close and leaned in saying,"I do love you. I always love a woman who is caring and knows how to fix things; especially my heart."

  I smiled and leaned more into the kiss, as Jason's lips met my own. I started to forget about the pain I had went through a few hours earlier.
