IMPORTANT: This Barry Allen is a special one. I hope this one gets to you all, but in a good way. If it does, that means it served the purpose it should. It is meant to make you cry or feel something that you normally don't feel. " Perfect" by Ed Sheeran was my first choice for this Barry Allen x Reader, so I know it will touch some of you very quickly. I know we all go through things. This just seems to be a common one. Plus, I love the song, so why not? Please enjoy. Also, I know how some of you struggle to feel loved, so what I do is: I pray for each and every one of you every night, whether I know you personally or not. I always pray that if anyone is having a bad day or a hard time, that my books will help make your day better or you will at least smile. Yeah, I just wanted to say that.

   Y/N'S POV

  As I sat upstairs in my bedroom, tears poured down my face. These comments on my videos were not good at all. Frequently, I posted videos on my channel for what I liked to do.
  Very little of the comments talked highly of my videos, but I couldn't possibly show Barry. He would worry, which I didn't want him to do. I loved him dearly, but I...I wasn't worth it.

  I heard Joe yell,"Y/N, YOU OKAY?!! YOU HAVEN'T CAME DOWN YET FOR DINNER!! IRIS IS HERE!!"

  I quickly closed everything out, before I closed the computer too. I got off the bed and wiped my tears, then I headed down the stairs.

  Joe met me at the end of the stairs and rested his hand on my face saying,"Honey, you okay?"

  I nodded saying,"Yes. I'm great. Sorry, I just got caught up in a video."

  Joe smiled and nodded, before he kissed my forehead. He let go of me, but I wanted nothing more than for him to comfort me. He couldn't have known I was going through something right now, because I didn't tell him I was going through anything. Not even Barry, Iris, Cisco, or Caitlin knew.

  I sat down at the table, and Iris hugged me saying,"It is great to see you, Y/N. Barry is on his way. He should be here any...second."

  Just before Iris said "second," Barry dashed into the house and said,"Sorry I'm late. Hey, Joe. Iris. N/N..."

  Barry leaned down and gave me a kiss, but I jumped.

  He looked at me confused but hugged Joe and Iris. Wally was upstairs still asleep, but Joe just said to leave him alone.
  Barry sat down beside me and took my hand. I looked down at our hands, yet it didn't feel like it usually did. I didn't feel like I usually did.

  I looked away from Barry, and Joe said prayed over our food. When he finished, everyone dug in. I ate my food slowly, and this earned Barry's attention.

  Barry led me away from the table and asked me,"Y/N, what's wrong?"

  I said,"Nothing, babe. I'm fine. I just...I already ate a few hours ago, so I'm still a little full from that."

  Barry crossed his arms and looked me dead in the eyes saying,"Really, because Joe told me you haven't eaten since last night. It would also explain your odd behavior lately. You're not telling me something, princess, and I don't like that. What aren't you telling me? What can I do to help you through it?"

  Barry took my hands and brought them to his face, before tears fell down my face.

  I said,"Barry, I just want to be alone. I'm sorry."

  Barry looked hurt that I didn't want his help, but he nodded. He leaned over and kissed both of my cheeks, before he walked back into the dining room.
  I headed up the stairs and grabbed my coat, before I opened the window and escaped. I rushed to the only place I knew I could go to be alone.

   BARRY'S POV

  After I sat back down at the table, Iris said,"What's wrong, Barry? Find out what's going on with Y/N?"

  I shook my head and sighed saying,"No, but she wanted to be alone. Something's not right. That's not like her. She's the last person that would want to be alone. Joe, what's going on with her?"

  Joe shrugged saying,"I don't know. She was fine, until she went upstairs last night. She hasn't really left her room either."

  I got up and jogged up the stairs, before I opened Y/N's bedroom door. I noticed things were all over the floor, but her computer was sitting on her bed. I slowly lifted it up and sped through Y/N's history. I smiled at her video she had previously did with Iris the other day.
  On another she had done, I began to look at the comments and that was when it hit me. There were many comments that said Y/N was unattractive, boring, irritating, and some other concerning comments under her video.

  I frowned and sighed, closing her laptop.

  I said,"Y/N, you know you're none of those things. Why let it get to you?"

  I knew Y/N was no longer here, because she was never good at covering her tracks. However, I knew where she went. This was not the first time Y/N had disappeared on everyone.
  I stopped by a flower shop and grabbed some roses, before I ran to where I knew Y/N would be.

  Once I got there, Y/N turned around and I frowned at how bloodshot her eyes were. Her eyes were always so bright and sweet, but now they were full of pure pain and sorrow.
  She rushed to me and buried her face in my chest, before I wrapped my arms around her.

  I quietly sang,"

I found a love for me.

Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead

Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet.

Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me."

  As I sang to Y/N, she sniffed and held on tighter to me.

  It was not long before she was full-on sobbing and said,"Barry, I...I love you so much. Please don't let go."

  I kissed her forehead saying,"Never, beautiful. Never. You'll always be perfect to me, no matter what other people think of me. You truly are beautiful and your own work of art. You don't need other people to tell you what you are and aren't, because they will be behind you one day. You will go places, Y/N. You just have to keep moving forward and use the talent you know that is inside of you. Don't let others change that, okay? Keep making your videos and be yourself. Don't stop. At least for me. Okay?"

  Y/N nodded and gave me a kiss, before I kissed her back slowly. She smiled in the kiss, while I wrapped my arms around her.
  She closed her eyes; however, I hoped she knew how perfect she was to me, even if other people had their own opinions.
