Chapter 63

I layed in bed, today was my 17th birthday. We got back from London yesterday and it was a nice get away, nice to see the girls again who have promised to stay in contact and are going to stay at nikkis next week as they get two weeks off for summer. I had to be at work for 9 and Anna had to be there for 8:15 and it's now 7am, I didn't want to get out of bed, this is my first birthday without Jesy and I know if she was here she'd be making me celebrate it in style.

I heard a knock at my door 'is my birthday babe up' the thick male accent said and I smiled, Nick was the best father figure I've ever had, I was just sat at my dressing table applying a little makeup 'she is' I sang back and he entered 'happy birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday dear bethhhhh happy birthday to you' he sang and I stud up and hugged him 'thanks nick' I smiled 'I gotta shoot but Anna's down stairs waiting for you, presents and cards are down there..be good, enjoy work..don't do anything I wouldn't, love you bye' he said kissing the top of my head 'bye, I love you too' I said and he left. I picked up my phone and looked at my home screen my Twitter app was blowing up, my texts had a little red bubble with the number 10 by it, my IG had a notification bubble along with Facebook. I looked at myself in the mirror before going downstairs 'so this is what it feels like to be 17' I sighed to myself and picked up my trainers and sitting down to put them on, I decided to check Twitter just to get rid of some notifications. 'LittleMix: happy 17th birthday to our strongest little mix lady. Keep fighting 'ElNelsonx' we love you so much, see you soon✨💗' no one had signed it so it could have been from either one of them, I needed to change my Twitter name but it's the only thing of Nelson I have left so I can't. I had one from nikki, Anna, Kirsty, Nick, Ruby and a whole load of hollyoaks and little mix fans. I pushed the kitchen door open and let myself in to see Anna washing pots 'morning' I smiled sitting down at the island and eating the toast and orange juice she'd prepared me 'good morning and a big happy birthday to you, I love you' she smiled coming over to hug me 'I love you' I smiled with a meaningful smile 'presents are in the living area' she said 'thankyou but you didn't have to get me out' I said 'I know..but I did' she smiled and I could of hugged the life out of her but didn't want to show I was over keen  'excited to see mum' she asked 'if you call it that' I laughed and she just rolled her eyes.

We arrived at work for 8:00am, the car park was empty near enough 'should be illegal to be at work this early on a Friday' I laughed 'another day another dollar' Anna told me as she scanned the door to let us in 'morning' Anna chirped to lee one of the directors 'morning girls..happy birthday beth' he smiled and I nodded 'I'll meet you at the green room, just gunna go toilet' Anna said and I nodded and let myself in there. Laid across the couch was a very tired looking Charlie Clapham with his cap over his face 'don't move my hat whoever it is' he said 'wasn't gunna' I laughed and  sat down next to Sophie porley 'happy birthday babe' she said hugging my side 'one more year and you can come out on the town' she smiled and I just giggled 'who else is in at 8' I asked 'today..pretty much everyone who is working' she said and I just nodded 'happy birthday kid. Didn't realise it was you' Charlie said and thanked him 'where's anna' Sophie asked 'I don't know..toilet I think or her dressing room maybe' I shrugged 'I have those books she wanted to borrow here' she told me and I just looked blankly I had no idea what she was on about 'righttttt..what time are use shooting' I asked '9' Charlie said with his eyes closed and I just layed on the other couch and nodded to myself '9 too..you' Sophie asked 'had to be here for 9 but my first take isn't till 10' I smiled and Jimmy walked in 'hows my little my Essex buddy' he said 'good thankyou Jimmy my crazy onscreen father' I laughed as he ruffled my hair 'I'm gunna go find an' I said walking out the green room 'makeup in 10' meg shouted to me as she was signing in and I just held my thumb up 'hair please' Scott said capturing me before I even had chance to find Anna 'I was just about to find anna' I said as he sat me down in the chair 'no time. Work calls and your hair is so long' he said and I groaned 'Montana is going for the thick super Afro curly look today with two half French plaits at the front and its gunna take some time to curl it because you've straightened it' he said and I just rolled my eyes 'can she not have it straight' I asked 'naaaa ahhh' he said and I groaned louder 'I straightened it for a reason though' I said 'her script says curly so' he shrugged 'what are you gunna straighten it again for my birthday meal later' I asked 'birthday meal' he said 'yeah it's my birthday' I said 'today..' He asked 'yeah..today' I laughed 'wow I never knew' he shrugged 'well you do now' I said as he started curling my hair 'happy birthday' he said 'thanks Scott' I told him as he carried on and I just sulked in my chair.
