Chapter 69

'Merry Christmas baby' Nikki said as I walked through her door with presents for everyone, I was excited to see my nana Jude and uncle, auntie and the kids and my sisters but I wasn't excited to spend the day with Nikki because I don't want any trouble, not today. I gave a small smile and sighed 'everything ok' she asked 'long night, she hasn't really slept' Anna said coming in behind me 'really is everything ok' she asked 'yeah just backache is everything okay with you I mean it's a year today since belle' I shrugged 'here let me take these yeah I'm fine, it's Christmas I have to live on she'd want me to' she said taking my present bags as we walked down the long corridor, I missed this house especially cause it was my home before Nikki moved in now I live with Anna's in the one she got built which I love don't get me wrong but sometimes I miss this. Everyone had been chatting and giving out gifts but now Anna was going and I was staying I walked to the door with her and left everyone behind 'goodbye baby doll' she said kissing my forehead 'goodbye annie' I said hugging her tight 'remember if you don't wanna be there or anything starts you phone me' she said 'thank you but I can't' I shrugged 'why' she asked 'yours and nicks family' I said 'hey..who cares, you're my family, and if they don't like that which they do they all love you then they can do one, you're my kid..you come first' she said not letting go 'I love you' I told her 'I love you too' she said kissing my head and leaving which left me sighing and walking into my mums living area again.

'Felicity and harmony are going here' Nikki said picking harmony up and placing her in a high chair and then setting floss next to her in a small table with her own chair 'Ellie you're here' nikki said and I scowled only Anna calls me Ellie but I proceeded to sit down next to her anyways across from me and mum was nana and my uncle then my auntie was st the top of the table and then my two cousins at the other end 'I love this, I've dreamed for this moment for so long' Nikki said and I just rolled my eyes 'I love you all and I'm very grateful for this I just wish belle could join' she carried on 'whilst we are dishing speeches out I'd just like to say that I love how this is now, my family that was once a family of 6 sat around the dining table is now a family of 9 but not any random family, we are full family one that's been long coming' my uncle said and I nodded it was nice to have a real family but then the nelsons were my real family also. I was tucking into my dinner and I must admit Nikki makes a mean roast and I was enjoying every moment 'so Ellie..Beth..whatever you get called, how you finding it, not long to go' my nana Jude said 'I'm fine, it's not the best pregnancy but I'm taking each day as it comes' I shrugged and everyone nodded 'you're a strong girl, we all love you' she told me 'I love you all too' I said finishing my Yorkshire pudding 'mummy can I go play' felicity moaned 'have you finished' Nikki asked 'all of it' she said 'right off you go' nik smiled taking floss's plate 'can I too mummy' lil asked and my auntie nodded and off ran the girl 'J my boy do you wanna' my uncle asked and my cousin nodded no and carried on eating 'right I'm gunna start washing up before pudding' mum said 'I'll help' I said taking dishes everyone had finished with only and took them to the sink 'thanks poppet' mum said and I just shrugged and rested my elbows on the side and sighed 'ok' Nikki questioned 'yeah just tired and sore' I said 'is it the baby' she asked 'yeah but she's fine' I said and Nikki carried on washing up and I breathed slowly, I was fine I was just in pain, lots of pain but didn't want to worry them on Christmas Day not only that I could tell Nikki was acting strangely because belle passed a year today.

'I love pudding' felicity said and harmony was just rubbing it all over her high chair and in her hair which made me giggle, I could not even think of eating mine I was just playing with it, I texted Anna before and she said if I was ok she'd leave me till I came home. 'Woah..' I said the pain made me stand up 'el, you ok' Nikki said standing up next to me 'yeah I think, I'm just gunna go toilet' I said and waddled off 'you should follow, at least just check on her' I heard Jude say 'give it a few minutes and I will' Nikki said I got into the living room and another pain shot through me 'ow' I said out loud and I was forced to bend over the sofa, just breathe I thought to myself, these had been going on since yesterday but have got more frequent today, I got myself up and went towards the stairs but I was already peeing myself then they gushed 'oh my god help' I cried and Nikki came through and my uncle as i bent over the sofa and then my uncle 'I've wet myself, I think it's the baby' I sobbed and Nikki rubbed my back 'right phone an ambulance quick' Nikki shouted 'there is no time I need to push already this can't be happening' I cried 'it can happen fast, and it is happening' Jude said 'phone anna' I said and my auntie took the kids in the kitchen and through to the play rooms that way out of my way. 'I'm not moving till Anna is here' I said bending right over the sofa and swaying side to side 'how long have you been in labour' Nikki asked 'since yesterday just not that bad' I said keeping my head down 'ughhhh' I moaned out loud 'ambulance is on its way' my uncle said 'I'm not getting in it without anna' I gurned trying to breathe as best I could and I watched my mum roll her eyes 'don't nikki' I warned 'you don't need her when I'm here' she said 'I do, I love her' I said 'but im your mum' she said and I was so annoyed I wasn't doing this not now 'so is she, get over it' I said breathing out 'ow mum' I cried and she rubbed the bottom of my back 'I need to push' I said in a panick 'push, no' Jude said in a rush 'mum she is coming' I said opening my legs a bit more out of force 'where is she' I heard and Anna came rushing in 'oh ellie' she said rubbing the other side of me 'Anna she's coming' I cried 'the ambulance will be here soon' Nikki said 'I don't have time, she's literally coming' I screamed as I felt like a bowling ball was approaching and trying to make its way out 'she's not' Nikki said and Anna bent down 'Ann no' I squirmed 'I need to see everything is ok' she said and I felt a contraction and it made me push 'woah woah her head is half out' Anna said 'what,no..right Beth when you feel it push again you can do this' Nikki said and I wrapped my arms so tight around hers and pushed down 'I got towels' my uncle said as he came back through, I could hear sirens in the distance too and my uncle left to go get them and I had no idea where my nana had gone 'heads out' Anna said 'on your next contraction push and she'll be here' Nikki said 'I'm to tired' I said I wasn't lying I felt weak 'you got this your baby will be here in minute' mum said and I cried and louder footsteps approached 'she's here, she's out I've got her' Anna said crying and I looked down and a pang of nausea swept across my whole body and my knees went jelly and I just kind of fell but caught half by Nikki 'hi Beth my names Kate I'm gunna check you over, have you had any problems with the pregnancy' she asked but I couldn't talk it's as if my mouth was numb 'she was with twins but lost one around the 20 week mark' mum said 'right, still inside' the woman asked and I nodded a tiny bit 'right we need to get her to hospital, we need someone to cut the cord of baby 1' Kate said and I didn't mind who 'together' Nikki asked and Anna nodded, I saw this tiny newborn right infront of me as they were cutting her cord, she was so small and had a mop of white hair which was cute because I was born white too but it faded towards a strawberry blonde colour 'we need to get mum and baby away asap, she needs baby 2 out and it looks like she's not comin without help' Kate said and I was put onto a wheelchair and wheeled out 'hospital bag is in my car' anna said 'you wanna go with her' Nikki asked 'no you go you're her mum, I'll meet use up' Anna said climbing in and my mum had a hold of the baby 'I'm so so proud of you, stay awake for me' Nikki said holding one of my hands and I just dazed over.
