Chapter 15

It's January 5th and I've been at the dance academy over a month now,I've made loads of friends and it's weird to actually have friends there for you and to go out every night,I have a bestfriend,she's called Courtney she's in our little group of friends,Siri is one of the main ones too. There's like 5 boys in our group Ben,Leonardo,carter,Liam and jack. I kind of have a crush on Leonardo but he will never look at me twice. Carter is a bit of a jerk,I am not keen on him. So far in the last month we have done auditions and rehearsals for high school musical the musical where doing,I did audition for the part of sharpay but got Gabriella which I was chuffed about I auditioned as sharpay because ya know I'm a bit of a diva and then at the end mr groom was like 'hey Libby over here..fancy auditioning this song for Gabriella's part,no ones auditioned for her' so I gave it a go and he gave me it. We have also been doing maths and English and in English we have been doing about poverty and stuff so where off to Trinidad today to help build a small school of some sort,I didn't really wanna go at first but for the first 3 days we help build and the last 3 days we do whatever,so I took the opportunity,I'd love to go sight seeing out there,I'd have more for my essays when I'm back.

I hopped into the car,it's 6:30am and we have to be at school for 7am,mum climbed in and asked if I had everything for the 1000 time. 'Yes mum I have everything including my things in a zipper bag so nothing gets wet or damaged and yes I have spares' she smiled and we drove off. 'I love it you being at that school,this is the happiest I've ever seen you,friends,education,following your dreams,getting your head down and your even organised,we have our nerdy nelson back' she giggled to herself. 'Yes mum,I'm following my dreams and I'm not giving up this time' I smiled. 'Ive book you the 8 weeks off in February and march but you don't need much of march off as your schools on holidays then anyways' I smiled and we stopped. I got my case out and give mum a hug and kiss and went off over to Siri and Courtney and Lucy the only boys here where Leonardo,Liam,carter. 'Hey where jack and Ben' I asked jacks nan died last night and Ben didn't wanna come no more' Siri sighed,poor jack,it put my mind to my nan,she doesnt have long left at all,dads been round everyday and I've been round with him every two days just when I can really. I've stayed in contact with dad and he's great to me. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I looked left and seen 3 girls and one boy stood waving me over;jess,perrie,Leigh and Jordan banjo. I ran over 'hi what are you all doing here' 'couldnt not say bye to my sister now' jess laughed 'I hear your coming on tour with us,it's gunna be so much fun girl I can't wait to spend over a month with you' perrie cheered 'babe,I'm only coming to baby sit nothing else,I told you to much fun leads to arguments and I'm done' I told her 'jess you said she was coming for fun and to play pranks with me and Leigh' perrie sighed 'okay anything for my little pez bear' I laughed,I gave each one a hug and went back to the coach where everyone was getting on ready to go to heathrow. I waved bye to everyone and took a seat next to Siri.

We arrived in Trinidad and it's only 7:25am here,there 5 hours behind,we arrived at 12:00pm UK time but 7am Trinidad time,we got to the hotel and our building starts at 8am,I'm sharing a room with Siri. I unpack some stuff and she is just staring at me 'god your the weird friend' she giggled,why I wondered..oh yeah because everything is perfectly neat and not one thing is out of place. I got my 3 quater leggings on and a long top and my bikini underneath and we set off to the front hall ready to go to the school building sight.

It's 8pm here and we have just finished for the day,where all heading back to the hotel and I'm going for a shower and an early night with Siri...climbing out the shower I change into pjs and look through twitter and Siri isn't in,no surprise. I spoke to soon the door burst open and she is all happy 'carter found some local and he's throwing a boat party tonight and where invited,Leonardo mentioned you too' she smiled 'I don't know I'm not really a party person no more' I sighed 'come on stop being a clean freak and come' okay I'm coming I told myself,I changed into some skinny jeans and put a tartan tight top of that went half way and put my bikini underneath first obviously. I had my side bag and I put a few bottles of water in and some snack in case I get hungry or thirsty on the boat. We rushed down and out the hotel and other to this locals boat,it was packed and I'm not going to lie I was pretty worried. The boat was full of people from our year mainly the boys,The boat was well out into the water now and I left Courtney and Siri and Lucy to go find a seat,I really wished I stayed back at the hotel...this has been the worst 2 hours so far,everyone's drunk I can't find Courtney,Lucy or Siri. I hear a noise and turn around,great police boat,I made my way towards to the back of the boat where strangers are pouring bear into the water,not attractive. I push past some guys trying to find my friends but some guy pushes me backwards against the railings and I loose my grip and fly over them and into the water 'help' I shouted,I heard a splash next to me I looked but I couldn't really see 'carter' I shouted 'it's okay come on,this dingy get in we will follow behind the police boat' he said not looking really bothered he just jumped in the sea to save me 'we will never make It behind them,the rip curls and force from the boats will make the waves more wild and push us everywhere' he just slight and layed down. 'What are you doing carter where in the middle of no where and your just going to sleep'..'chill nelson we aren't gunna die,I promise' he laughed,chill chill how the fuck can I chill when Im stuck in a dingy with the most jerkish boy in our year. The rain had started and carter had decided to put the cover for the boat over us to keep us dry a bit,I sighed and layed down and put it over my face aswell,I just want my mum now.
