Chapter 61

My eyes flung open, I knew I wasn't in my usual surroundings and it was weird, usually I can sleep out and not be scared but the last few days it has been so different.

I climbed off the bed and slipped my feet into my slippers and left the room and headed down the staircase. I made my way through the vintage styled living room and into the open plan kitchen 'morning little one' Anna said and I smiled 'morning' I greeted back 'just you and me today, nicks gone' she said 'gone where' I asked 'he's gone to film a few things in America' she said 'you'll miss him' I said 'I will indeed, but who needs a man when you've got a little stand in sister' she smiled placing my breakfast infront of me with a glass of orange juice 'thanks' I smiled and she smiled sweetly back. You see since that night everything went wrong whilst mum was in London with the girls it hasn't really gone well, she came home found out what had happened and told me she no longer wanted me there until I've booked my ideas up so Anna being the kind hearted like family member she is has took me under her wing, and 4 weeks down the line I'm not the same girl I used to be, I'm so much more wiser, no more stupid actions or anything like that the only thing I'm starting to miss is my nights in with mum and my own bed. 

'Ready for work' Anna asked and I nodded 'I can't wait to see my mum' I smiled 'I bet' she said driving away from the house 'thanks Anna' I smiled 'for' she laughed 'taking me under your wing and giving me a roof over my head' I shrugged 'like I told you you're like my little sister, I'd never see anything bad come to you..ever' she said 'I know I guess it's just the nicest thing someone's ever done for me, I know Kirsty would do the same but she lived with us so' I laughed 'I'm a nice person..I don't like to kick people when they're down I like to help' she smiled as we turned into the gates for work 'Ive realised, you've been the best person to me..thanks for never giving up' o said getting out her car and walking over to the door 'I'll never give up..family' was all she said as we walked to the green room, today was my first day back in 4 weeks they put me on the sick to help me get my head around the deaths of Jesy and Isabella, I walked in and everyone's eyes were on me 'oh my god, beth' Ruby squeeled running over to me and tackling me in a hug 'are you better' she asked 'it's taken a while but with Anna's help I'm all better' I nodded and she hugged me again but tighter then jess Ellis came over 'come here you' she said and I hugged her and she pulled back, I looked around and everyone was smiling then my eyes scanned over to mum and she was just stud up smiling which made me smile and run over to her 'I've missed you' I said 'me too and the girls' she said and I pulled back and looked around 'ahh it's good to be back' I smiled standing in my place besides Anna again 'it's good to see you back, healthy and happy' lee my boss said 'I'm a lot happier, I have my down days but I pull by' I nodded 'death hits us all in hard ways, some worse than others and unfortunately you were one of the worse ones' he said and I nodded 'but she's better now and by far the strongest 16 year old I know' Anna smiled putting an arm around me and mums face was a picture 'always you are up in 15' lee said walking off and I was excited to get back to work mode. I left the green room and went to my dressing room, I opened the door and Seph and Ruby were in here 'what use doing' I laughed 'surprise' they said moving out of the way to reveal a big bouquet of flowers, a card and a present bag 'what's this' I asked 'a present from everyone, just to say how proud we are' Seph said and I could feel myself tearing  up and the door opened a bit 'did I hear that a certain Elizabeth Sanderson was back today' Kirsty said and I jumped on her 'I missed you SO much' I emphasised wiping my eyes 'me too, but I am so pleased that you are back to yourself, it was not nice seeing you like that those weeks back' she said and I just felt warm in her comfort 'I know and I'm sorry but I'm here now, I'm back fighting fitter than ever' I told her and she high fived me 'I knew Anna would be the best person' she said and I nodded.

I'd filmed one scene and now was causing some trouble on my dinner break with Seph and Ruby like old times, this time we were pranking Ellis, because when we annoy him he gets us back and has a little bit of fun the others just moan. 'Done' Ruby asked and I nodded 'Seph' she said 'complete, you' she asked 'also done' she laughed I'd swapped the dressing room door names around so Ellis and Richards name panel was now on kassius and kiza's door and there's on the boys door, Seph managed to mix a little glue in their hair products and Ruby poured flour and water in their shoes 'so how will it work' Ruby asked 'basically, you go to the green room with Beth and just be like yeah rooms have been swapped, names are on the doors to Ellis and Richard so they think it's the same for everyone and they'll walk in on kass and kiz getting changed or something and they'll kick off and when they go back to their own to sort their hair out and stuff..then you can figure the rest' she laughed and we nodded and left for the green room 'ready' I asked Ruby who nodded 'hi guys' I smiled 'hey you two, I hope you're being good' Steph said and we nodded 'yeah, just seen lee and he mentioned that dressing rooms had been changed' I said and Steph, ellis, Richard, lysette, jarred, Sophie, Kirsty and Anna all looked at us 'really' Sophie said 'hmm hmm' Ruby nodded and Kirsty looked at us with squinted eyes, she wasn't stupid 'names are on the new doors' I shrugged 'well me and rich are shooting in 10 so we best be off to get ready and see where our new room is' Ellis said and I just nodded and said bye and then looked at Ruby who didn't look to convinced 'what have use done' Steph asked 'us..nothing' I nodded in an angelic way 'lies' she said and we laughed.

Most people had gone home, there was just me, Anna, Kirsty, jess, Ruby, nikki and Seph left in the building, I couldn't go home because I had to wait for Anna was just showering and finish up from shooting and the rest had night shoots to do so they'd be here later than us two. I was sat playing with both harmony and felicity who were here till 9 with nikki because of course she didn't have a babysitter and Kirsty was working till 9 to, it's a good job it's Friday. '1,2,3 go' I said clapping my hands and floss was running from one end of the room to the other, just being a normal 3 year old and harmony well she was on her hands and kinda trying to crawl she was just 9 month old after all, floss ran back this way and I caught her and wrapped her in the biggest cuddle ever, she squeezed me back and laughed and her little face looked so much like Jesys and in those few split seconds I was sad, sadder than ever I missed her so much it was so hard, I found it hard that I'd never hear or see her again and yet these two tiny humans in front of me have lost both parents and will never know them 'Beth' I heard and I looked up to see Anna 'we are going home' she said and I smiled and give floss and harmony a hug 'goodbye little ones, see you Monday' I said 'wait where you going' nikki asked 'home' I said 'but I thought you were coming back home with me tonight' she said and I looked confused 'no' I said 'but you're back to work, I also thought that meant coming home' she said 'look mum..you kicked me whilst I was down' I shrugged 'but you were doing drugs' she said 'and I just needed that little bit of support to help me see sense and you never offered any of that you threw me out straight away' I said 'I needed a clean home for the girls' she said 'but I'm your daughter..biological one that let me remind you of you haven't brought me up you should be dying to help me and save me' I said 'I have helped in every way I can and you took drugs over me..you're 16' she said 'and you shit on me whilst o was down and Anna picked me up, you loose' I said going towards the door 'Beth' she said and I looked back 'mum, a few weeks..give it time I'm just settling now I'm not up heaving myself..plus the girls remind me of Jesy to much' I shrugged 'so you're making me choose' she said and I just looked blank because I don't want her to choose but it sounds like I do 'no because they'd always win, they won you over this time' I said 'that's not true, they don't need that crap in their life' she said 'but I do' I asked 'you took it' she shrugged 'I took it because I felt like I had nothing else to turn to' I said 'well you did, you just didn't look' she said 'I just lost the best thing I ever had in my life and you expect me to bounce back fine and dandy' I asked 'of course not' she said 'well them you should understand where I came from back a few weeks ago, I wasn't myself, now I am you want me back' I asked and she didn't answer '4 whole weeks you left Anna to sort me out when I was coming down from the drugs, my tears, my sweat, my sick but most of all my pain..you didn't contact once' I said 'I'm sorry' she said 'me too..sorry that I ever thought better of you' I sighed and left and I heard Anna running behind me 'does this mean you're staying' she asked, truth was I was supposed to go back home but I couldn't, although the last few days have felt weird Anna's was where I was now comfortable, I've done so much moving around in my life I just want to stay put for a while.
