Telling

Tanner's POV

While I was editing my video, I started hearing a bunch of pounding on the front door, so I got up and went to the door and opened it. Mia was standing there panting. Why is she here, and why does she have a black eye?

"Mia, what the hell happened to you?" I exclaimed

She told me the whole thing. Who the hell does Leo think he is? He doesn't own her. She isn't something you can use. I'm taking her to the police station right now. I could tell she is nervous, she is biting the inside of her cheek. It's one of her bad habits, she did it all the time when we were little. Yeah, I still remember, I'm not a stuck up ass that forgets about his friends, well I mean I kinda was.

We arrived at the police station. As we walked to the doors I held her hand to reassure her that she's okay. She gave me a weak smile and we walked inside, she walked up to the front desk where a woman was sitting there on a computer.

"Hi, how can I help you?" She asked.

"Um I'd liked to report someone" She hesitantly said

"Okay. What would you like to report?"

"I was threatened that if I go near someone I would regret it. I'm sure he means by hurting me or blackmailing me" She explained

"Okay. I will have a detective with you in a moment, just wait over there"

"Thank you," Mia said while giving her a smile. We both sat down and waited. Mia was just looking at her shoes, and I decided to break the silence.

"It'll be okay, you're doing the right thing, Mia," I said calmly

"I know, but what if he finds me!? Or worse you?" She still cares, putting me first, she's really selfless, that's why I love her, and not the friendly love, the love, love. I liked her a lot when we were friends, but like is an understatement.

"He won't hurt you, as long as you are by my side. I know you hate me, but I'm sorry. I really am, after we stopped being friends, my life was hell! It still is! I miss my best friend, and no one is like you Mia, no one" She looked at me and smiled.

"I forgive you Tanner" I smiled and hugged her. The lady from the desk came over and said,

"Miss, there is a detective waiting for you"

"Thank you. Stay here, I'll be back" I nodded and she walked away.

Mia's POV

Tanner is amazing, I'm happy he's with me, or else I wouldn't have gone here. The lady showed me to a room and there was a detective sitting there. She opened the door and let me in. I sat down across from the detective.

"Hello, my name is Detective Mullins (comment if you know what that's from) now I've been told that you have been threatened with abuse, and blackmail"

"Yes," I answered.

"What is your name?" she asked

"Mia Lambert"

"Okay," She wrote down something in her book.

"Now tell me exactly who this person is, and what they did to you"

"His name is Leo. Leonardo William Jacobs, he's my ex-boyfriend. We started dating not that long ago. He was nice at first, but then he became this overprotective guy that would literally come to my house and choose what I wore to school. Last year we were at a party and he cheated on me, then we didn't talk for a long time. He tried talking to me but I just pushed him away. And today my old friend Tanner Fox and I were paired up for a project. Now Leo knows what he did to me, and he knows I used to like him so we was angry. So I was at the beach when he came behind me and knocked me out, that's why I have this black eye. Then I woke up at his place and he started talking to me. He said that I was his and I always will be, then he said he knew I loved Tanner, I kept on saying I didn't, and then he threatened me that if I go near Tanner again that I would regret it, and I know what he meant by that" I explained

"What did he mean by 'regret it'." she asked

"That he was going to hurt me or Tanner, and blackmail me"

"I see. Can you give me his address?"

"Yes, it's 5 Oakland Drive" (btw I know it sucks, but I didn't know what to use)

"Thank you, Mia, I will send some police officers to get him"

"Thank to so much!" I said shaking her hand.

"You're very welcome. Now I suggest going to a friends house just in case he gets away, it's just a precaution"

"Okay," I said nodding my head

"Alright, now go rest, and do something about your eye" I nodded and walked out the room. I walked into the waiting room and saw Tanner, I had a smile on my face.

"They're getting him?" I nodded and smiled bigger.

"Thank god" He smiled and gave me a big hug.

"They said I should stay at a friends house, just in case"

"You can stay at mine," He said quickly.

"Really?" I asked wearily

"Of course, you're my best friend" I smiled gratefully at him and we walked to his car.

He drove me to my place to get my stuff, my dad already left to go to the airport so the house was empty. I grabbed my pillows, blanket, chargers, laptop, toothbrush, hairbrush, and makeup and put them all in my duffle bag. Tanner grabbed my pillows and blankets and put them in his car, and I put my duffel in it too. I closed the door to my house and looked at Tanner.

"Thanks again for letting me stay at your house Tanner," I said sweetly

" I told you, it isn't a problem, you are always welcome" He smiles.

"Thank you" I walked over to him and gave him a hug. We stayed there for a long time.
