Mia's POV

Right now I'm at the mall shopping for makeup because I ran out of concealer for my wrists. While I was looking at makeup, a young girl came up to me and said "Omg you're Tanner Fox's girlfriend!" "Oh no I'm not. That was just a joke" "Oh. Well can I get a picture?" "Sure" She pulled out her phone and I took the picture. When I gave her back her phone she said "What happened to your wrists?" I panicked "Oh I-it's nothing r-really" "You cut too. Don't ya?" She pulled up her sleeve which revealed a bunch of scars "Oh god"

Me and the girl talked for an hour. I told her the deal me and Tanner made she said she would help me get over the cutting because she did. We said our goodbyes and I went home. When I got there my dad was in the kitchen drinking beer "Hey. Where were you?!" "I was at the library reading" "Why?" "Because I wanted some quiet and I ran out of books to read" "STOP LYING TO ME!" He slapped me across my face. I fell back, the wall catching me, I put my hand on my cheek which now stings. He continues to call me names until he got tired and went to bed.

There was I on the floor, hopeless and in pain. My vision was blurry for a bit and then I got it back. I got up and went to my room and cried myself to sleep.

A few weeks later
Tanner's POV

Mia has no idea I'm back yet so I thought that I would surprise her. I walked up to her house seeing that it was just her car, and that her dad wasn't home. Perfect. I knocked on the door and waited for it to open. Once it did, there stood Mia. She looked so beautiful! Her hair curled, dress on, beautiful face. She couldn't be anymore perfect. She stared at me wide eyed "Hey!" I said all cheerfully. She snapped out of it and hugged me tight. God I've missed this feeling. I hugged her back and she whispered in my ear "I've missed you so much" "You too" She pulled back and she let me into her house. I sat on the barstool by the island in the kitchen while she made coffee "How was Australia?" "Good. Awesome I saw so many of my fans! How is your YouTube career going?"
