Preforming Live part 1

Mia's POV

It's been a few weeks some we lost Riley, and me and Tanner are doing much better. We got through it together and I think I'm ready to go back to work. They said I could take as much time I needed but I'm ready to come back. We need to finish the album, it's not all gonna be songs from Illuminate, some songs will also be from Handwritten. Like Memories, This is What it Takes, Act Like You Love Me, etc. I'm so excited, I think we might be preforming soon too!

I just got to the music studio, and I'm actually here before Shawn. I guess I'll just sing some of my songs while I wait. I got my journal out and started to flip through some pages till I found the perfect one. I had named it "Supernatural" No not like the show. I made this when I first got depressed. It felt really weird and words could not explain it. So I decided to write down what I felt like.

It had so much emotion in it that I tested up a bit. I took a deep breathe and let it out. All the sudden I heard clapping, my head shot up to the door, and there stood Shawn. I blushed and said "Um. H-how much did you hear?" "All of it. Don't be nervous, it's really good. You just have to fine the right music to it" "You really think it's good" "You put so much emotion in it, I did the same with Mercy. I feel like if you put more emotion and passion, that it makes the sound better" I smiled "Thanks" "No problem. Um Andrew wants to talk to us. Let's go" he waved his arm in the direction of the door. I got off the stool I was sitting on, and walked out the door "I know this might be a touchy subject but, how are you doing?" I sighed "I'm doing much better actually. Better than I expected, I mean it sucks losing a person that was alive, but to lose someone who wasn't even fully grown just makes it worse" Shawn nodded "I'm sorry you had to go through that" "Don't be. I'm much better now, thanks for being concerned" Before he could say something we were already at Andrew's office. I knocked on the door and he said "Come in!" I opened the door and he smiled "Mia it's great to have you back. I'm happy you are feeling better" "Thanks it's good to be back" "Alright sit guys, I have some amazing news" Me and Shawn both sat down on the chairs and Andrew started talking "Well as you both know we have been planning on doing a performance, it's been a very long time but, this Saturday you both will be singing at a radio show!" He smiled really wide "Wow that's awesome! My first performance!!" I smiled and jumped up and down in excitement "Okay so what you guys are going to do is sing some of Shawn's songs together, the Mia you could play some of the songs you created" Me and Shawn nodded "Alright well you both should go work on your songs and stuff. Go" Me and Shawn got up and ran to the recording studio "This is going to be so awesome! I can't wait to preform live!" "This is going to be awesome!" Shawn said "Let's go work on our stuff" Shawn nodded, I grabbed my guitar case and took out my blue electric guitar "Damn nice guitar" "Thanks. I also brought my acoustic" I gently put my electric guitar on the floor and walked to my other guitar case. My acoustic guitar was very old. I've had it since I was 12, it has scratched on it, I've only broken two strings in the whole time I've had this guitar "Wow that looks old" "Had it since I was 12. Played it ever since. I can also play the piano, flute, and drums" "Damn" I chuckled.

Me and Shawn practice a bit and I found a good sound for some of my songs. I can't wait to play them!!! Before I knew it, it was already 8 and we had to go home. I packed up my guitars and me and Shawn left the building. He helped me put my guitars in my car which I still have no idea how they fit in "Thanks. I'll see you tomorrow" "Your welcome. See you soon" He gave me a hug and walked to his car. I got into my car and I drove back to my place. Once I got there, I immediately walked to my room and collapsed on the couch. Tanner was at his house so I was all alone. But that's okay, I think I'll just sleep the rest of the night.

Saturday I'm preforming live
