Love is in the air..

Mia's POV

Me and Tanner just finished getting all the presents into the car, and we both changed into something, somewhat comfortable. Such as I'm wearing a simple short white dress, while Tanner is wearing his white button up shirt, with black pants.

I was getting all my makeup into my bag, and cleaning up when someone knocked on the door. I walked over to the door, and opened to it see Peyton. We did invite him to the wedding, but he wasn't in the wedding "Hey Peyton, what's up?" "Well first I meant to say congratulations!" I smiled and hugged him "Awe thank you. Is there anything else you want to tell me?" He but his lip, and he seemed nervous "I want to propose to Hailey" I was shocked. My mouth was open at bit "Please say something!" I cleared my throat "When did you think of this?" "Well actually I thought about it a week ago. I don't want to lose Hailey, and I know I have been the worst person to her, but I really love her, and I want to be with her for the rest of my life, and I'm sure of it" I sighed "Did you ask her parents?" "Yes, and they were really happy" I nodded "So why are you telling me this?" "Well I wanted to propose to her tomorrow, but I know you're leaving tonight. And I just would feel better if you were here, giving me advice" "Okay, so why didn't you ask Tanner?" "I'm pretty sure he hates me" I sighed sadly "Okay what's your plan?"

Everything is all set up. So basically I'm going to ask Hailey to get something that I "forgot" in the bathroom, and when she goes to the bathroom, the dance floor is in front of the bathroom, so you have cross it to get to the bathroom. So the lights will be off, but when she gets onto the dance floor, Elissa will turn on the lights., and Peyton will walk in and propose. Hopefully she'll say yes.

I told Tanner what was happening, he wasn't fond of it at first, but he's okay with it now. "Peyton hide!" He ran into a closet. Which by the way I had no idea it was there. Hailey walked over to me and said "Hey, why did you call" "Thank god you are here! I'm very stressed out about everything, and I totally forgot my makeup bag in the bathroom, can you please get it for me? I have to go sort things out with the catering service" "Yes sure, of course" You are a lifesaver my friend!" I hugged her quickly, and ran away. I got out my camera and started to walk towards the dance floor. I saw the lights turn on, and Peyton walked out of the closet (hehe) I was hiding. When Hailey turned around, she was surprised "Peyton, what are you doing here? I thought you left?" "I'm sorry, I just have to get this over with before I go crazy" She looked worried "What happened?" He took her hands and kissed them "Hailey, you have no idea how happy you make me. Since the first time I met you, I knew you were something special, and that I wanted you, no screw that, I NEEDED you. I know I've screwed our relationship up many times, and I'm still amazed you are still here. And I'm amazed at what I'm about to do, but Hailey" He grabbed a small box out of his pocket, and got onto one knee. Hailey gasped, and put a hand over her mouth "I'm sure as hell happy you are with me. And I cannot imagine my life without you. You are the greatest girlfriend, anyone can ask for. You're always willing to help, and I love you for that. You are beautiful, caring, amazing, and talented, and I cannot believe that I found you. So Hailey, will you marry me?" He opened the box and Hailey began to cry a bit. She turned her head and saw me. I nodded my head and smiled. She turned her attention back towards Peyton and said "A million times yes!" He smiled widely, and put the finger onto her finger. He rose up quickly and kissed her on the lips. I started clapping and I was teared up a bit. She pulled away, and I walked over to her, and gave her a great big hug "Congratulations, Hailey. I can't wait to start planning your wedding" She laughed and wiped her tears "I can't believe it" "Those were the exact words I said, when Tanner proposed to me. Hailey I'm so happy for you!"

The rest of the night, me, Tanner, Jake, Elissa, Peyton, and Hailey all hung out. "Hey Jake, when are you going to propose to Elissa?" I joked. He blushed and said "I don't know, but I hope someday" We all awe'd. "No but seriously, you're the only couple in the friend group who isn't engaged or married" Tanner butted in saying "Yeah man, you're missing out" Jake hit Tanner on the shoulder, and we all laughed. The whole night, we all talked, played games, ate junk food. But it all ended when they had to go, so we could go "Thank you guys so much for coming" I hugged them goodbye, and closed the door "Ahhh, finally we're alone" Tanner walked over to me, and wrapped his arms around my waist. I put my head on his shoulder and said "Yes, but we won't be for much longer, remember we have to go to the airport in" I check my phone "1 hour. Do you have everything packed?" "Yes, I did mine, and yours" I smiled and pecked his lips Awe, you're such an amazing husband" he giggled like a little kid when I said "husband" "I like that name!" He cooed. I smiled and hugged him.
