ITS CHRISTMAS BABY!!!

Mia's POV

ITS CHRISTMAS!!!!! Well Christmas Eve. But I know I'm 17 but I just loveeeeeee Christmas. Whenever I was little my biological moms family would have a Christmas party and I would see my favorite cousin! We still talk, but she lives in New Jersey so. Ugh so farrrr. I'm a lazy ass.

But I got all of my presents for my friends and boyfriend. For Hailey I got her a charm bracelet which I know she'll love. She also plays basketball so I got her a new one because the one she has is very old. I got Peyton his own skateboard considering he didn't have one, I got Tanner's mom some scented candles because I had no idea what to get her and I thought she would like the smell of them. I got Kirby some new toys, and for Tanner. Well. I'll just leave that as a surprise. 😁. IM SO HAPPY. I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS. So for Christmas Eve I'm just gonna hang out with Hailey because Tanner is gonna be with his family, so Hailey is like my family so. Tomorrow she is going back home so I least I get to spend the day with her!

We are just going to go to Starbucks and maybe we'll go to the skatepark. There is also a basketball court so she could shoot some hoops, while I do some tricks on my scooter. Right now I'm waiting for Hailey to come over so we could go, so I'm watching spongebob. I know. Child. But guess what.

Spongebob is life man. I heard on knock at my door so I opened it, to see a happy Hailey "What up hails!?" "I told you not to call me that!" "Sorry. Let's make a deal, I get to call you hails, while you get to call me Smalls" When we first became friends we both loved the movie The Sandlot (ps. Y'all should go watch the movie. It's the best!!!) and because I was always shorter than her, she would call me smalls like one of the kids in the movie "Deal" We shook hands and I said "Well let's go to Starbucks!" I said with a sassy tone "Let's go gurl" She said making the duck face. I laughed and got my keys. I locked the door and got into Hailey's car "So how do you like your very own GTR?" "I freaking love it! Thank you guys so much for getting me it" "No problem. You deserve it gurl. Now all of use have GTR's"

We walked into Starbucks and I got my usual and Hailey just got a smoothie. We walked back to her car and drove to Claremont. I got my scooter out of her trunk and said "Alright. Come back to the skatepark around 5 ish alright?" "You got it mom" "Screw you hails" "Ditto Smalls" I just shook my head and walked where all the kids were.

It was like the usual sessions. We would have competitions, hang out, do some cool tricks. I also learned to do some new ones too! YESSSSSS. And before I knew it. It was 5:15 and Hailey come over saying we had to go. I said bye to the guys and got into Hailey's car.

We got back to my house and just chilled out until Tanner, Peyton, and Jake came over. Then all hell broke loose. Not in a bad way, we all were just crazy all together, but Peyton not so much. He kinda seemed like the odd man out. I like the kid, but sometimes he could be a Debby downer. The whole night consisted of games, laughing, truth or dare, movies, junk food. And overall. FUNNNNNNNNNNNN. Couldn't ask for a better Christmas Eve. Hailey had to leave at 9 which I was bummed about, but Peyton went with her which I'm happy about. So it was just me, Tanner, and Jake. I also forgot to mention what I got for Jake. Just the simple stuff. He said all he wanted from me was candy. Soooooo, me being the awesome friend I am, I got him more than just a few things of candy. No, I got him a huge box full of it. This should last him maybe 4 weeks. Hopefully. I also got him a $35 iTunes gift card, and a new hat consider he always wears them. But I think Tanner is going to love his present. I only told Hailey this but I got him something he's always wanted. Well first I got him candy because who can't live without candy, I got him a really cute card, and the one gift I know he'll love is that. Me and him are going to go on a vacation together!!! That's right. He always says that we don't spend a lot of time with each other, so I took the liberty and I found 5 days were we don't have anything planned and I booked us a vacation in Italy! I know, why ITALY? I've always wanted to go to Italy and it'll be something new for the both of us! I hope he likes it. It's not until July which is far away, but at least it's something.

It's midnight and we are all getting ready to go to sleep. I put all the presents under the tree and everything is perfect. I changed into my pajamas and I got under my covers. Not long after Tanner came in with no shirt on. Damnnnnnn those abs tho! "Merry Christmas beautiful" "Merry Christmas handsome" "Can't wait for you to see what I got you!" Tanner said with a smile "Well whatever you give me, I'm sure I'll love it. I hope you like mine too!" He got under the covers and wrapped his arms around my waist, and pulled me against him "I love you Mia" I snuggles my head into his chest and said "I love you too Tanner" Then I started to drift asleep. Safe. In Tanner's arms.

I woke up to Tanner shaking me "WAKE UP!!! ITS CHRISTMAS BABY!!!!" "God I can't take so much excitement in the morning. Especially when I just woke up" "Come on! Get up. I want to open presents!!!!" "You are such a child" I shook my head and got out of bed. Me and Tanner walked downstairs to see Jake eating cereal "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!" He said with a mouthful of lucky charms, he also had a Santa hat on. How did I ever get stuck with these two children? "Let's open presents!" Tanner said jumping up and down "Can y'all calm down!" I said laughing. We all walked to the tree and separated our presents.

After we opened presents from santa I got candy, clothes, some supernatural merch, a sketch book, paint, fuzzy socks, a journal that is shaped in the letter "M", earphones, and new mint green converse! I'm sooooo happy. Next was our gifts to each other. Tanner said he wanted me to open my present from him last. First Jake went. When he opened up the huge box of candy his eyes went wide "You didn't" "Boy I did" He looked up at me, and tackled me with a hug "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUUUU!!!" "Can't breathe dude" He let go and went back to his box of candy. After Jake opened all his presents it was Tanner's turn. He opened the gift he got from Jake first which was some shirts, keychain, and candy. Next was mine.

I was so nervous.

He opened the box first, then the card. He read it out loud.

"Merry Christmas to the most awesome boyfriend ever! I hope you have an awesome day, and I'm so lucky to spend it with you! I love you sooooo much I hope you like this other present. Got to your car, and look in the glove compartment for an envelope. Merry Christmas!

"What did you do?" "Go see to find out!" We all got up and walked to Tanner's car. He opened the passenger door, and opened the glove compartment. He grabbed the envelope that said "To Tanner" We all went inside and he opened the envelope. He took out a piece of paper and opened it.

"I know we haven't spent a lot of time with each other, so I took the liberty and changed that!"

He grabbed the envelope and shook it, and out came two plane tickets. Once he read them his eyes were wide "You did this?" "Yup" I said popping the "p" "I love you soooo much. Thank you!" He got up and hugged me. "I love you too!" "Well this puts mine to shame" "Don't say that" He handed me a box, I opened it and he got me candy, a teddy bear, and another box. I opened the lid and inside was a necklace. It was the shape of the state New Jersey "Since you don't live in New Jersey and all your family is there, I thought I would give you, your own little personal New Jersey" I started getting tears in my eyes "Aw. Thank you so much Tanner. This is the best gift ever" I hugged me, then he put the necklace on me. I kissed him on the lips and he said.

"Merry Christmas baby"
