Mia's POV
Me and Tanner got home yesterday, and all we did was sleep because we didn't get any sleep on the plane, and before we got onto the plane. Tanner had to leave for a meeting about his merch, so I'm alone in the house. Well I'm not alone, I have Lucky, I wish he was a human. While I was watching tv, my phone vibrated, so I picked up my phone to see that I had a text from Hailey.

Hey I know you're all alone, tanner asked me to come over and have a sleepover with you. You know, like the old days!

I squealed in happiness, which scared Lucky because he was sleeping. I got off the couch, and ran to mine and Tanner's room. I changed into pj's, and grabbed pillows, blankets, snacks, and my phone, and ran to the couch. I set all of the pillows and blankets on the floor, and put all the snacks on the coffee table. I heard three loud knocks on the door, and ran to it. I opened the door, and there Hailey stood with a pillow and a blanket "Who's ready to have the best sleepover, in the history of sleepovers?" "Me!" She laughed, and we walked into the living room "God, I could never get used to how beautiful your home is" "I know, I have no idea how Tanner found this house, without me finding out" "Well, Tanner has a great taste in houses, maybe he can help me and Peyton find a place" I laughed "Wait! You guys are going to move?!" "Don't worry, I told Peyton that I wanted to find a place close to you and Tanner" I sighed in relief. Lucky came running in, barking. He jumped onto the couch, and started to sniff Hailey "You never told me you got a dog!" "I didn't get the dog, Tanner did" "See the world needs more men like Tanner, you got so lucky!" I smiled, thinking about how lucky I am to have Tanner "We named the dog Lucky" "Awwwww" She grabbed Lucky and set him on her lap "You know, you have so many dogs, and you are getting so crazy over one" "Yeah because he's a small husky puppy!" I laughed and shook my head "Can I see your ring?" I asked Hailey. She showed me her left hand, and I was astonished. It was a simple ring, but it was beautiful. It fits Hailey "How did Peyton afford this?" "How did Tanner afford your ring?" I looked down at my ring "Because it was my mothers ring, my aunt came it to him because she didn't want him to spend a fortune on one. And honestly, I would rather have this ring, than any other ring in this world"

"My mom loved the color blue, and my dad wanted her ring to be special. That was before he came a alcoholic, but he was a sweet man. My mom was pregnant with me when she had her wedding, she was only 2 months but, my dad told me that she was scared that she would throw up over him when they were saying their vows, or when they were dancing. Luckily she didn't, but god did she look beautiful. I was going to wear her wedding dress, but my dad, he um, I don't know what he did to it. In my moms will, it said that she was giving me every piece of jewelry she had for some reason. And at her wake, the casket was open, and I um, when I was looking at her body, I noticed that she still have her ring on. I was mesmerized by her ring, ALL the time because of the color. So I made sure no one was watching, and I took off her ring. I put her right hand, over her left so no one would notice it was gone. And when we got home, some of the floor boards in my room were loose, I had taken one off and I stored a box in there. All of my secrets items I had were in there, so I put the ring in there. I only told my aunt because she was the only one I could trust. And when Tanner asked for their permission, she gave him the ring, and I couldn't be any happier with this ring, it feels like she's still with me" By the time I stopped talking, I had tears in my eyes, and Hailey was crying "You guys, are like the best love story ever" I laughed and gave her a hug "Yeah, we are the best love story ever" Me and Hailey broke apart to see Tanner was standing by the door, with tears in his eyes "How long have you been standing there?" "Once you started talking about your ring" I nodded my head "Oh um, I wanted to tell you that since you and Hailey are having a sleepover, I'm going to stay with Jake and some other friends tonight" "Okay, thanks for telling me" I got up, and walked over to him. I gave him a hug, and he kissed my forehead "Goals!" Hailey yelled from the living room, we both laughed. "I'll see you tomorrow. I love you" "I love you too, be safe, and make good choices" "Always" He said sarcastically. He kissed me on the lips, and left. I walked back to Hailey, and see was looking through movies "What do you want to watch?" "Anything" "How about The Conjuring 2?" I sighed in annoyance "Fine" She knows I hate scary movies. Two years ago, it was the day before Halloween, and me and some of my friends were having a Halloween party. And what kind of Halloween party doesn't have a scary movie involved. So we decided to watch The Conjuring, and let's just say, we mostly screamed, than talked. I had nightmares that whole week (btw I watched both movies, and the second one is less scarier than the first) She put the movie in, and jumped onto the couch. I grabbed a pillow, and watched for the nightmares to come.
