I know just a couple of days ago I met my new baby cousin, but today is my aunt and uncles wedding. And I know what you're thinking. Wtf? How is he your uncle if he isn't married to your aunt? Well he's been dating my aunt for a long time, that I've been used to calling him my uncle. And today is finally their wedding! And I'm the maid of honor! I'm so excited. Oh and we are back in San Diego, we got back yesterday morning.
Me, my aunt, and some of my girl cousins stayed at my house, while my uncle and his friends went to one of their houses. Right now me and the girls are all getting ready, and Hailey is with me too. She isn't in the wedding but she's going to be there because it's going to be a fun night. Her and Peyton got back together and this Peyton's last chance. Tanner and Jake are coming and I don't know if any of our other friends are coming, my aunt said I can only bring 4 and I've only brought three. Eh three is fine. The color of the bridesmaids dresses are all long blue dresses with studs on one side and some on the one strap of the dress.

Simple, but very elegant. The groom and the groomsmen (idk if that's what they're called) all just have simple black tuxedos, with blue flowers in the pocket. Our flowers are blue and white, while my aunts bouquets of flowers are all white. My hair was curled and pinned to the side. I sent a picture to Tanner with all my stuff done and he said I looked absolutely stunning. Such a cutie. He was in the wedding, he was just one of the regular groomsmen, and I have to walk down the isle with one of my uncles best friends. And let me just say, he's wayyyyy older than me. Like he's 35, and I'm only 17, almost 18. Ugh I'm so not looking forward to that, at least I don't have to dance with him, I'd rather dance with Tanner.
Everyone is all ready and we are now heading to the chapel. I'm so excited I've been waiting forever. We finally got to to the chapel and everyone piled out of the limo. We all got into the chapel and stood next to whoever we were walking down the isle with. I saw Tanner and he smiled and walked over "You look absolutely stunning" I blushed "Thank you. As do you" He put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him and kissed me on the lips "I can't wait for the after party, we can dance together, hang out, and just have fun" I smiled "I know, I can't wait" Tanner pulled away and whispered in my ear "I'll see you later" "Okay" He smiled and walked away.
Everyone was standing and it was finally time for everyone to walk down the isle. I put my arm around my uncle best friend. The doors opened and we walked slowly down the isle, I smiled as we passed everybody. I looked up at my uncle and he was smiling he mouthed "You look beautiful" and I mouthed back "Thank you" We got to the end and we parted ways and I stood by the brides side and waited for everyone. Tanner started walking down the isle with one of my cousins and he immediately looked at me and smiled.
Everyone was waiting for the bride to start walking down the isle. The music started playing, and the doors opened revealing my aunt and her dad. She looked amazing. I looked at my uncle and he had tears in his eyes, I smiled. As she finally reached the end of the isle, her dad put her vail behind her and kissed her on the head. My aunts turned to me and handed me her bouquet of flowers and I held both mine and hers while she walked to my uncle. Let's get this started.
"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife" Everyone clapped and my aunt and uncle kissed. I had tears in my eyes because their vows were beautiful, I'm so emotional. My uncle and aunt ran down the isle while everyone clapped and cheered. I looked at Tanner and smiled. He ran over to me and grabbed my hand "Let's go!" I laughed. We ran down the isle together, following the bride and groom. I would love to that for my wedding.
We finally got to the hotel were the wedding after party was being held. I was taking to my cousin Annabelle when Tanner came over and said "Hey I want to show you something" I nodded and excused myself from my cousin, and took Tanner's hand. "Tanner where are we going?" "Shhhh, we're almost there" He said laughing. He had led me to the garden in the hotel. We stopped in the gazebo and Tanner turned to me and said "I just wanted to be alone, I missed you" He took my hands and spun me around, I laughed "What has gotten into you?" "I don't know. Just seeing some people get married and be so in love. It just put me in a good mood" I sighed and shook my head "I really want to marry you some day Mia" I froze "Really?" "I love you so much, I really don't care about age, I would marry you right now in a heartbeat" "Me too" I said smiling. "Let's go inside before everyone starts to wonder where we are" He nodded his towards the hotel. I laughed and we walked back into the hotel.
Everyone was seated, and we were waiting for the bride and groom to come in and have their first dance as husband and wife. I was sitting next to Tanner with the rest of the of the people in the wedding. Just then the dj started talking "The moment you've all been waiting for has finally come. It's my pleasure to announce the new newly weds!" Just as the words left his mouth, the doors opened and my aunt and uncle came running in. Everyone laughed and cheered and clapped. They both walked to the dance floor and started dancing to an old song, I can't remember the name of. I smiled and video taped the whole thing. Tanner came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and whispered in my ear and said "Come dance with me" I smiled and put my phone down, I turned around and grabbed his hand and led him to the dance floor. Other couples had came to the dance floor too and my favorite song came on. Kiss me By, Ed Sheeran. Tanner put one arm to the small of my back, and other one in mid air. I put my hand in his and one on his shoulder, and we both started swaying to the music.
Settle down with me. Cover me up. Cuddle me in. Lie down with me. And hold me in your arms.
Tanner pulled me against him so my head was rested by the crook of his neck and on his shoulder.
And your hearts against my chest. Your lips pressed to my neck. I'm falling for you eyes. But they don't know me yet.
Tanner leaned in and kissed my neck and softly sang, the best he could, into my ear.
And with a feeling I'll forget.
I'm in love now.
Tanner pulled me back a bit and spun me around, and I laughed. He pulled me towards him and dipped me and smiled. His smile could cure cancer.

"I love you so much, you know that?" I laughed because when he said that, he said it into my neck and it tickled "I think I have an idea"
We danced for the rest of the night, and I swear, as cheesy as it sounds, I felt like I was in a fairy tell. I mean during the song, Tanner kept telling me how much he looked me. This whole wedding stuff, really got into him. Now it was time for the bride to throw her bouquet into the crowd of girls. Which whatever lucky girl catches it, she will be the one to get married next. I'm one of those girls.
My aunt stood onto of a chair and all the girl gathered in a group. "Ready?" She said, everyone laughed and said yes. My aunt turned back around and with all her strength, she threw her bouquet towards us. I heard shuffling and the bouquet came flying towards the middle, right towards me. I held my arms out and the bouquet landed right in my hands and everyone started cheering and I started laughing. I looked to the left of me, and no one was there, I looked to the right, same. My aunt came walking towards me and said "I knew it, sweetheart turn around" "Why?" "Trust me, you'll love it" I laughed nervously and slowly turned around, everyone was recording. I held onto the bouquet really tightly and turned around fast, and what I saw brought tears to my eyes.
Tanner was behind me, on one knee, and holding out a small black box.
