I'm at the skatepark with Tanner and his friends when I get a text from my old friend Hailey.

Yeah and I heard you are dating the one and only Tanner Fox. So lucky

Yeah I'm in San Diego rn. You should come down and hangout with us!

"Earth to Mia. Who ya texting?" "My old friend Hailey. She might be coming up here so we can hang out! I'm so happy I have seen her in forever!" "That's cool. Hey how about you show us some of your tricks?" "Tanner you know I'm not good at tricks. I only know the little things" "You know how to do a tail whip right?" "Yes" "How about you do a flair?" "Yeah sure. While I'm doing it I'll break my head open how does that sound?" Tanner just glared at me and all his friends said ohhhhhhhh. "I'll help you do it don't worry. You're in good hands" I just rolled my eyes, and grabbed my scooter (btw I know nothing about scootering because I have no life so I don't know if any of this is correct) "Alright first you gotta get speed before you flip, so you actually do a full flip. Then you use your arms, and you grab hard on the handles and pull up so that you flip. You know how to do an actually flip so at least you know what you're doing. Then just don't let go while your in mid arm please, I don't want to take anyone to the hospital" "Wow Tanner so reassuring" "Just try it. You have all your pads and helmet on so don't worry" I nodded and rode up to the half pipe (idk if that is what they call it) i took a deep breathe and pushed off getting as much speed as I could. I was getting to the end and I thought about what Tanner told me "Use your arms and you grab hard on the handles" i grabbed the handles so hard my knuckles were turning white "Pull up so you can flip" I used all my strength in my arms and pulled myself up. I ACTUALLY DID IT I'm in mid air "don't let go" I grabbed hard on the handles and payed attention to the ground so that I know when I'm close to the ground. It was like in slow motion, it was awesome. I'm close to the ground and I start to get nervous. I felt my scooter hit the ground and I steady it so I don't fall. I had my eyes closed most of the time. But when I opened them I saw I was up and moving around. I smiled so wide I was so proud of myself. I threw my fist in the air and screamed "YA TAKE THAT BITCHES!!!!!!" Tanner came running to me and pulled me into a hug, and spun me around "Holy hell you did it. That was awesome Mia!" "Thanks" Tanner put me down so that the others could congratulate me. God that was scary and fun.

We grabbed some pizza on the way home from the skatepark. I was so hungry I haven't eaten all day. While I was eating I got a text, it was Hailey. She was telling me her mom said she can come and she's bringing Peyton so I replied back.

I laughed "Why are you laughing" Tanner said with a funny face "My friend Hailey is coming over with her friend Peyton, so I said we should have a double date" "Is she dating the guy" "No. but she likes him and I just wanted to tease her" "You're so mean" I stuck my tongue out at him. He got up and picked me up bridal style "What you did at the skatepark today was amazing. Especially for your first try!" "Aw thanks. I was surprised to that I actually landed" He kissed me on the lips, I kissed him back then pulled away "Tomorrow I have to go to my dance studio, we are having a competition and because I've took so many days off I need to catch up" "Aw. When are you leaving?" "I'm just going to the studio in the morning and staying there till like 2 pm" Tanner frowned at me "Fine. But please wake me up before you leave" I kissed his lips and said
