Tanner's POV

I am so nervous right now.

The last bridesmaid and groomsmen just got to the end of the isle, and Mia and her dad should be coming out any second.

My hands started to shark, and Jake noticed, he put a hand on my shoulder and said "Dude don't be so nervous! You are going to walk out this alter, with Mia Marie Fox, not Mia Marie Lambert. Then later you're gonna get hit!" I smacked his arm and said "Jake! Shut up!" The music started playing, telling me it's time. I stood straighter and took a deep breath, everyone stood up from their seats, and looked at the two wooden doors at the start of the isle. The doors opened, and I saw left speechless.

Mia and her uncle, slowly walked towards me, and I could feel the tears in my eyes.

She looks so beautiful. She's like an angel!

Mia looked through he vail and smiled at me, I smiled back with tears in my eyes.

She finally got to the end of the isle, and I went down a step so I was closer. Her uncle turned to her, and smiled. He picked up her vail, and but it behind her, he leaned forward and kissed her head and whispered something to her that made her laugh. He turned towards me, and gave me a pat on the shoulder "Don't do anything stupid Tanner, you're lucky I let her walk down this isle" I laughed and nodded my head "I would never do anything to her" He smiled and walked back to his wife. I turned to Mia, and held out my hand, which she gladly took. She handed her bouquet of flowers to Hailey, and picked her dress so she wouldn't step on it. We got up to the priest, and we held each other's hands. I mouthed to her "You look like an angel" She blushed and mouthed back "Thank you" The priest opened his book and started to talk.

"Priest:

We gather here to unite these two people in marriage. Their decision
to marry has not been entered into lightly and today they publicly
declare their private devotion to each other. The essence of this
commitment is the acceptance of each other in entirety, as lover,
companion, and friend. A good and balanced relationship is one in
which neither person is overpowered nor absorbed by the other, one
in which neither person is possessive of the other, one in which
both give their love freely and without jealousy.
Marriage, ideally, is a sharing of responsibilities, hopes, and dreams.
It takes a special effort to grow together, survive hard times, and be
loving and unselfish.

Do you both pledge to share your lives openly with one another, and
to speak the truth in love? Do you promise to honor and tenderly
care for one another, cherish and encourage each other, stand
together, through sorrows and joys, hardships and triumphs for all
the days of your lives?

Tanner:
I do

Mia:
I do

Priest:

Do you pledge to share your love and the joys of your marriage with
all those around you, so that they may learn from your love and be
encouraged to grow in their own lives?

Tanner and Mia:

We do.

Priest:

May these rings be blessed as a symbol of your union. As often as
either of you look upon these rings, may you not only be reminded of
this moment, but also of the vows you have made and the strength of
your commitment to each other.

Tanner, please repeat after me ...

I Tanner, promise to love and support you Mia and live each day
with kindness, understanding, truth, humor, and passion. With this
ring I thee wed.

I repeated every word, and took the ring from Mia's cousin. I took Mia's left hand, and slowly slid the the silver band onto her finger, right by her engagement ring.

Priest:

Mia, please repeat after me ...

I Mia, promise to love and support you Tanner and live each day
with kindness, understanding, truth, humor, and passion. With this
ring I thee wed.

She repeated every word, just as I did. Took the other ring from her cousin, grabbed my left hand, and slowly slid the band on my finger.

Priest:
Now it's time for the vows. Tanner you may go first.

I took a deep breath and started talking.

"Mia I cannot believe I am here right now. I cannot believe that there is an angel standing in front of me right now, you look so damn beautiful. Mia you've made me into who I am, and as cheesy as it sounds, I cannot imagine my life without you. We've been through many challenges in our relationships. Our lives haven't been the best, but yet here we are. Both 18, and getting married, and who knows what'll happen next! You are the most beautiful person I've ever met. You're caring, selfless, talented, beautiful, and amazing in every way. I love you with all of my heart, and never once have I thought different about you. We've have fights, broken up, heck we've been through things that many couples haven't been through, but we still have each other, and I never want to let you go. I love you so much, and I am so happy to finally be your husband. Forever and always"

By the end of my vow, I had tears in my eyes, and Mia was crying. I smiled and wiped her tears away with my thumb.

"Mia now your vows"

She took a deep breath and started talking.

"Now we all know that I'm not good with showing my emotions, but I will try my best. Tanner your speech it probably ten times better than mine, and I hope that mine will have the same effect yours did to me. Tanner without I probably wouldn't be alive, and right now, I'm really happy I am. I have scars, which you and I now call my battle scars because some of them I've fought for. From my abusive father, to my own thoughts, you've stopped both of them, and you got hurt in the mix. Tanner you are the most amazing guy I've ever met, and I'm so happy that I moved here. You are talented, good looking, caring, brave, strong, and amazing, and I cannot believe you are still with me to this day. How did I ever get so lucky with a guy like you, I never thought I would be happy again, but that was before I met you. You brought happiness and excitement into my life, and you gave me a reason get up every morning. From good morning kisses, to our goodbye hugs, I can never get bored with them. You keep me alive, you are my savior, and I'm so lucky to have you in my life. Forever and always"

By the end some tears had escaped and she smiled.

Priest:
Go now in peace and live in love, sharing the most precious gifts you have-
the gifts of your lives united. And may your days be long on this earth.
I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.

I smiled and looked into Mia's eyes. I pulled her to me, and wrapped my arms around her waist, her around my neck. We met halfway, with the most passionate, and loving kiss I've ever had in my life.

Everyone was clapping and cheering. Mia's aunt and uncle were crying and clapping. We pulled away, and Jake patted me on the shoulder and whispered in my ear "Chi!" I smiled and said back "Pow!"

I grabbed Mia's hand and said "Let's get this party started!" She laughed and we walked down the stairs, and kind of ran down the isle, and into the world.

"Is this the new start of our new life together Tanner?"

"Yes"

"Promise"
