Hailey's GTR

Mia's POV

As Tanner promised we are getting Hailey a GTR. I think she deserves it, I mean when I told her I got one she totally fangirled she loves them so much! So right now the three of us are driving to the Nissan car shop to look for a GTR. It's just the three of us, but I think something is wrong with Hailey and Peyton, I mean as soon as we got home from the pool Hailey went straight to her room and fell asleep, and Peyton wasn't there either. I'll ask after we get her GTR. We finally got there and we all walked into the car shop. A women who worked there came up to us and asked what we needed, so we told her we were buying a new car for our friend, she asked what kind of car and we said a GTR. She told us to follow her so we followed her outside were they have a bunch of GTR's. I gotta say that's the most GTR's I've seen in one spot and I've been to a lot of car shows. There were red ones, blue ones, black ones, and white ones. There was also an orange one like what? "Which one do ya want Hailey?" "Hmmm. That one. The blue one with the orange strip" "Nice choice Hailey. It look awesome!" Tanner said "Thanks Tanner"

We all went inside and did the paper work for the car. Hailey kept on fidgeting "Are you okay Hailey?" "Yeah just nervous!" "Ya sure. You've been weird ever since we got home yesterday" "I said I'm fine. Really" She looked out the window. We finally got all the stuff done and the GTR was finally hers! "Alright Hailey here are your keys!" And I handed her the two sets of keys, she started jumped up and down "OMG THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!" She hugged Tanner and than me "Alright let's go to the beach to get some pictures of your car" "Okay see ya guys there!" Then she ran over to her car and I just shook my head, and Tanner chuckled and held my hand. We walked to his car and he asked me "What time do you have to be at the place?" "Um 8:30" "Okay we have enough time!" I checked the time, it was only 4. As we were driving on the highway Hailey sped up in front of us, and I laughed so I grabbed y camera and recorded her "This is what happens when you buy a friend a GTR" Tanner laughed.

We got to the beach and she parked her car in the perfect lighting. I got out my picture camera not my vlogging camera. I started taking pictures of it and I looked over at Hailey and she's just staring at her phone, so I walked over to her and said "Hey you okay?" "No" Then she handed me her phone. It was a picture of Peyton and this other girl "Omg Hailey I'm so sorry. I really thought he was the one for you" Then I hugged her "Hey you wanna what I say about this?" "What?" "Screw that asshole!" She laughed "Thanks Mia" "Anytime!" We finished taking pictures and by the time we were done it was 6:30. So we drove home and hung out until 7:30 "Alright guys I gotta go, I have a meeting with Shawn Mendes's manager!" "Alright babe. Good luck!" Tanner walked up to me and kissed me on the lips, then Hailey came up to me and hugged me "Knock em' dead Mia" "Thanks! See you guys later!" I grabbed my keys and walked out the door to my car.

I got there at 8:15. There was some traffic but hey it's California, when is there never not traffic. I walked into the building and asked the lady at the front where Andrew was and she told me to go to floor 4 and it's the first door on the left. I thanked her and went to the elevator. I hate elevators so much. I got to the 4th floor and walked to her office, and knocked on the door "Um excuse me Andrew? it's me Mia Lambert" "Oh come right in!" I walked in to see something amazing.

Shawn Mendes was sitting right there.

"Hi" "um. H-hi" "Please Mia come sit!" Andrew said. I walked over to the seat next to Shawn and looked at Andrew "So, Shawn here has told me that you have an amazing voice" I blushed and looked down "Well I don't really think I do. I mean it's an okay voice, it isn't amazing" "Oh come on. Don't put yourself down. Your voice it amazing!" Shawn said I looked up to see him smiling at me. I smiled back and looked at Andrew "Let's watch some videos of you singing shall we" I looked at the tv in front of me and then my first video of me singing. Oh god I hated making this video I was so nervous "Hello YouTube. Cutiepeeps here and today as I said in my first video I am going to sing. What have I gotten myself into, I mean I'm nervous as hell. I hate singing in front f people" I giggled, just look at me now old self. The song I sang was a Shawn Mendes song. Omfg it was Treat You Better. I blushed so hard I was convinced I looked like a tomato. I started singing and I glanced at Shawn who was smiling at my singing. I just couldn't wait for this to be over.

After watching some of my singing videos Andrew turned off the tv and said "Well. Do you like Shawn's songs?" "Yeah of course I do. If I didn't I would've have sang Treat You Better" Shawn smiled "What are your favorites?" He asked me "That's hard. I like Patience, Bad Reputation, Mercy original and acoustic, Understand. Basically all of the songs on the album Illuminate. I now I seem like a total fangirl but music is mah life" Shawn laughed "Happy you like my music. What about Stitches?" "Who doesn't like it?" "Okay I have an idea, I think you'll both like it" Me and Shawn both nodded "How about you two do duets on songs. Like any songs. It could be Shawn songs or any song you like. And Mia you could make songs or just sing a regular song" "That sounds awesome!" Me and Shawn said at the same time "Great. I'll get some paperwork. You two just talk or something" Then he walked out the room. "So you like my singing" "Yeah definitely. I love your voice. You were one of my inspirations to sing. Then there's Troye Sivan which I loved most of his new songs" "I like some of his songs too. What's your favorite song from him?" "Suburbia hands down. I just love the beat too it. Most of the songs I listen to I listen to them because of the best or the music. But for you it's the words and the beat" "That's good to hear. Also how old are you?" "17" ( btw guys I made an error before when I said she was 15 turning 16. I meant 16 turning 17. 😝) "You look much older than that. I thought you were 18 to be honest" "I get that sometimes. But most of the time people think in 15 because of my height" "Yeah I could see why. You're really short" "Ha ha. Very funny Mendes" He out his hands up surrendering. Then Andrew came in with paperwork.

I went over everything with Shawn and Andrew. Everything seems good. I grabbed a pen and signed wherever I needed too. I can't wait to do this "Alright Mia that's it. I will text you the details about meetings and everything" "Okay thank you so much" I shook his hand and turned to Shawn "I don't do hand shakes. I do hugs" Then he pulled me into a hug and I hugged him back.

HOLY FUCK. IM HUGGING THE SHAWN MENDES.

I broke the hug and said goodbye and walked out the building. I got into my car and drove home. Once I got there I ran into the living room and screamed "I DID IT BITCHES. I GOT SIGNED TO ISLAND RECORDS!!!" I started jumping up and down. Tanner came running over to me and spun me around "Mia that's amazing. Congratulations!!" "Thanks. Where's Hailey?" "She said she wanted to go out. By herself. Is something wrong?" "Yeah. She found a picture of Peyton and this girl kissing. She's upset. I'll just let her blow of some steam" "Okay. Do you want to celebrate?" He said with a smirk "Tanner Fox!" "Sorry" He put his hands up in defense "Im just playing!" I put my arms around his neck and kissed him on the lips.

We had a make out session for about 7 minutes but then I was really tired so I told Tanner I wanted to go to sleep. I got into my pj's and walked over to Tanner's bed. Hailey was home but she didn't want to come out of her room. What the hell am I suppose to say to her! I'll take her somewhere tomorrow.

Today was a good day.
