Lullaby

Mia's POV

I've been home for about 2 minutes, and I'm already holding, and hugging Nevaeh. I've missed my baby girl so much! I don't know how I made it 2 weeks without seeing her. Same with Tanner, but he said it was perfectly fine with her, I feel like he needs some time alone with the guys, I mean he's been taking care of Nevaeh for so long, and ever since she's been born, he hasn't left the house that much.

I got up from the couch with Nevaeh still in my arms, and walked to the kitchen were Tanner was "Hey babe?" He turned around, and smiled "Yeah?" "When's the last time you've had fun?" "Well taking care of Nevaeh was fun, so I would say not that long ago" "No, I mean, when's the last time you've had fun with your friends" I emphasized friends. He paused for a moment, and started to think, for a long time "I see. Well Tanner Stratton Fox, I think you need a day off" "No, babe, I don't need a day off. I'd rather spend my day with you and Nevaeh, and to know that you both are okay, and safe" "Look Tanner" I walked closer to him "I get that your protective of us, and I'm so grateful to have someone that cares so much about my safety, but you gotta remember that all the dangers in my life, are now gone. They're locked away in prison, and they can't get out. You've been cooped up in this house ever since she was born, you might start going crazy. Just for one night, one night, you have some fun with your friends, just for the sake of it, like the old times. Please, it would be nice to spend some alone time with Nevaeh" Tanner bit his bottom lips, and stood there for a second. He looked me in the eye, and smiled "Do you have any idea how much I love you? Alright I'll call the boys, and we'll hang out, but just remember this was your idea" "And I take full responsibility if anyone gets hurt" I nodded while talking. He smiled again, and walked closer to me, and kissed me on the lips "I'll go call the boys" I nodded my head, and he walked away.

"Okay babe, they're here. Now please, if anything goes wrong, don't be afraid to call me, I'll be over here in a heartbeat" "Everything we be just fine. Now go, have fun" He smiled, and kissed my lips. He grabbed all of his stuff, and walked over the door. I laid back down on the couch, and continued watching tv, but that didn't last long because Nevaeh started crying. I got up from the couch, and fast walked to Nevaeh's room. I walked to her crib, and slowly picked her up. I started swaying from left to right, soothing her "Do you wanna hear a song? Or a lullaby in this case? Because I'll be happy to sing to you" She made a funny noise "I'll take that as a yes" I realized I haven't updated my YouTube in forever, so I grabbed my camera, and sat down on the rocking chair. I place the camera on the bedside table, and pressed record "What's up my beautiful Peeps! I know, wow, I haven't posted in forever, and I'm sorry about that. This is Nevaeh, I'm sure you've seen her because she was trending on Instagram and twitter, but I thought I should sing her a lullaby to get her to sleep. I'll be singing Never Be Alone by Shawn Mendes" I made sure I was holding Nevaeh right, and cleared my throat.
