There were a few things that I had never expected to happen while composing this idea of the salt circle.

The first thing was Jody, I had overheard her talking to Sam about the fact that, none of this had gone down until Mary arrived. Mary must have been the demon, it only made sense. This whispered conversation must have been over heard, because, the second thing I didn't expect occurred right after. We all passed into the circle, the last three left out was me, Mary and Jody. And as I moved towards the circle, Jody drew her weapon. She was shaking. She was freaking out. I whipped around and stared at her in shock.

"Jody! Do not fire!" Dean was shouting.

"What? Just because she's your mom she can't be the demon?" Bucky cut in angrily. Dean turned on him, but Sam put a hand on his shoulder.

"Jody, drop the gun." Sam said calmly.

"I...I'm sorry I..." Jody was thrown against the wall. By me, of course.

Dean and Sam shot their heads towards me.

"That's not Jody." I snarled. Jody looked at me with pitch black eyes.

"You really are a problem." Jael snapped.

"You killed Elvis, and the other guys, and Asa. You're the problem." I spat, holding up a hand and pushing him back against the wall. Jael raised an eyebrow.

"Wait... I killed Asa?" He made an unnatural and cocky grin cross Jody's face. He looked past me, to Bucky. "Why don't you tell them what really happened, huh?" He motioned.

I didn't like that story one bit. Bucky and Asa go on a hunt. Bucky and Asa argue. Bucky pushes Asa. Asa goes down. Asa dies. Bucky strings him up and blames the demon. I looked back at Bucky, still holding Jael in place. Mary was in the salt circle now, there was no where he could go. But I certainly wasn't letting him go. An argument erupted. Bucky tried to defend himself.

"We can deal with that later. Get out of Jody." Sam brought everyone's attention back to the problem at hand.

"Or what?" Jael mocked. "You love this woman too much to-" He was cut off. I was closing my hand into a fist. I could feel him writhing in there, trying to escape. Dean and Sam rushed forward.

"Nellwyn stop!" Sam tried to pull me back to my senses as Dean began chanting an exorcism. The room began to shake, Sam was shaking me. I was too lost in my own head to notice. I couldn't see Jody anymore, all I could see was the soul of a low-life demon.

The ceiling cracked.

"Nellwyn you have to let him go!" Sam grabbed my wrist, to my surprise. I instantly relaxed, as if I had just come out of a trance. Once I released my hold, the demon shot from Jody like a rocket, changing course and burning straight into the ground. Straight back to hell. Jody fell to her knees, couching and wheezing, holding her neck.

"I'm sorry." I muttered for what felt like the hundredth time that day.

Bucky was dead. I wasn't sure when or how it happened. I was too lost in my own thoughts until morning dawned the survivors left the house. I sat on the ground, leaning against the impala while I watched Max and Alicia talking to Asa's mom after she had had a short word with Mary, Jody wandered over.

"I'm really sorr-"

"Don't worry about it kiddo." Jody rubbed the top of my head. "Don't worry." She assured me, giving me a warm smile. Dean gave her a look. Jody just smiled back at him as Sam walked over, telling Dean that Mary said she needed to go on a short walk.

"How're you feeling?" He asked, looking at both Jody and I. Jody shrugged.

"I think I just need to head home. This wasn't exactly what I thought it'd be." She said, motioning to the three burning bodies that we had been preparing for burial. A hunters funeral, they called it.

We said our goodbyes to Jody and a few moments later we were faced with an awkward silence between Mary and the three of us.

"So... Does this mean you're coming back?" Dean asked. Mary let out a small sigh.

"No... not yet." She said, Dean face fell.

"Can..." I cleared my throat as I pushed myself up. "Can we... like... get some breakfast or something?" I looked off away from the three.

"Breakfast?" Sam asked.

"Yeah... My... my mom used to sneak me and my sister away from... well... anyway, we would go get breakfast and just-"

"Breakfast sounds great." Mary smiled. I looked at her, the smile was genuine. Dean had a small smile on his face as well, so did Sam. The monster I had been in that house was forgotten for now, and we all chatted aimlessly as we drove off, away from the last chapter of Asa Fox.
