(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
I give Carl a peck on the cheek before turning the corner and walking out towards the field.

"Hey (Y/N), what's up?" Rachel asks, walking towards me.

"Just pulling some of these weeds out of the garden. What about you?"

"Oh, you know, just walking around like always," she says, sitting down next to me.

Rachel managed to break one arm and fracture the other arm, so she can't do much.

"Wanna hear something crazy?" She asks, and I nod, keeping my focus on the weeds I'm pulling.

"Michael asked me out. Like as in to be his girlfriend. I haven't told him my answer yet, but what could go wrong? He's cute and quick on his feet. That's what matters now a days, right? You know what? I think you and Carl would be a cute couple. I always catch him staring at you while you're working. Like now!" She says, causing me to look around for Carl.

Well, it's good to know he hasn't lost interest in me.

"I just don't think we'd work out," I say, trying to focus on anything but the fact that I just lied to my best friend, and that I have been for three years now.

"What's wrong with you? The hottest guy in our camp is obsessed with you, but yet you think it won't work? Is it the fact that his dad is the leader, or the fact that he's a better walker killer than you?"

"Rachel, what does that have to do with anything?" I laugh, looking up at her.

"I don't know, but I can't come up with anything else," she laughs along, looking past me at the walkers on the fence.

"Why did this have to happen to us?" She asks, her eyes getting damp.

"I-" I cut myself off with a sigh and decide to just pull weeds again. Once I pull the last one, I head back up to the prison. I look back at the garden to see Rachel just sitting there, still staring at the fence.

She just needs time.

Carl greets me face to face at the door, giving me a mini heart attack.

"Hey, (Y/N), I was just looking for you. Meet me at my cell in five," Carl winks, walking past me.

Well, I was going to say something, but now I'm at a loss for words.

I go ahead and walk around the corner and through the hall to cellblock B, also known as the "kids cellblock" to go ahead and have a seat on Carl's bed.

In about three minutes, Carl enters, causing me to stand up. It's about three in the evening and everyone is busy, so he doesn't bother with the privacy curtain.

Carl starts walking towards me, causing me to take a few steps back for every few steps he takes forwards. Eventually I hit the wall.

"How's my princess?" He asks, putting his hands on the wall beside my head.

"Just fine," I say as he leans in to kiss me. He takes off my shirt and I take off his.

"Uh, Carl? Your dad is looking for you," Glenn interrupts, scratching the back of his head while looking at the ground.

I lay my head in the crook of Carl's neck and sigh as Glenn walks away.

"Do you think he'll tell?" I ask, my heart rate slowing back down.

"No, he doesn't have to," Rick says, leaning against the wall.
