I stood up and looked straight at the tarpaulin as I tried to calculate its position and see if it's exactly right in the middle. "Just a little more on the left," I said and the man standing on the tall ladder immediately obeyed. "Ayan! It's perfect!"

Shin just gave me a thumbs up. With the placement of the tarpaulin done, I roamed my eyes on the seemly environment outside the town center hall. White and yellow banderitas were orderly hanged around the area. Few pieces of white cloth were also hanging in front of the grand hall which gave it a touch of purity.

"Happy thanksgiving," I uttered to myself with a wide beam on my lips.

Seeing the ambiance really makes me feel excited. I heard that as soon as Ean and Shion together with the miners come back, sisimulan na ang selebrasyon.

The citizens of Edira is busier than ever. Kanya-kanya na ng luto. Kanya-kanya na ng pag-aayos. Seeing them working hard together warms me. Comparing this to the Edira I once knew when I met Ean ay napakalaking progreso nito. It just feels so peaceful here. I think what Shin told me yesterday was right; once people starts working together, they can achieve anything.

"Whoo! Kapagod.

"Thank you, Shin.

Yes, Dylan and ate Vivith almost made a scene. Napakamapilit kasi ni Dylan and ate Vivith was just worried for him. Pero sa totoo lang, ate Vivith has a point. Dylan's too young to do such simple yet dangerous work.

He immediately wore a smile after seeing it.

"Paradise," maikli kong sagot. I am so thrilled to write an article about this. This is a sure hit, no doubt.

An old man suddenly confronted me and Shin.

"May kailangan po ba kayo?"

"Ay wala naman, hija. Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa pagtulong niyo sa amin," he sent his gratitude with a pure smile.

"Naku, wala po iyon. It's actually a pleasure to help Edira. I mean-- wow, this is just so beautiful," I stated as I couldn't contain my awe. What I was trying to say was not just the way Edira looks now, but also its people. Simula kasi noong tumulong ako rito ay mas marami pa akong nakilala rito. And I was so amazed on how kind people here are.

"'Tay!" Another man came, calling out to the old man with us. "Kailangan daw po kayo sa kusina."
