*Moira
Just like before, napakainit talaga dito sa Edira. It's not like I don't want it here, I actually misssed being here. Sadyang nakakapanibago lang talaga ang init dito lalo na't three years din akong tumigil sa Orthil.
It's been three days now ever since we arrived here and today was Ean and Shion's second day of guarding the miners. Tulad ng napagkasunduan namin, I was left to remain here in Edira. The mission's going pretty well so far. There has been no threats or anything that would point out to bandit's movements. Nagpapasalamat ako doon since as of now, Edira is busy preparing for their thanksgiving.
As a place filled with cultures and traditions, Edira's thanksgiving will be held as soon as the mining is finished. Sabi ni ate Vivith ay isa rin daw ito sa paraan nila para pasalamatan ang tigapaglikha kasama ang mga biyayang binigay nito sa kanila, specifically the wealth that they are to receive from mining. A celebration will be held here soon.
In fact, I'm fresh from the town center hall. Yes, it's tiring but it's fun working with the citizens of Edira. Not to mention, stuff like this is article worthy. I'm sure marami akong masusulat regarding this and I'll be able to share the amazing culture and tradition of the lands of Caidel.
As I was taking my silent rest, a not-so-young-anymore boy caught my attention. My lips formed a beam upon seeing that. "Dylan!"
He immediately looked at me and so I waved at him.
"Nothing. I'm just glad that you're still keeping the soundphones I gave you," I stated with my eyes locked on the very widget I gave him in glee.
"Ah, opo. I'm not that naive not to notice that there's a huge change in Dylan, but I sometimes forget about that when he's around me. Maybe he's matured a bit and no longer that innocent boy before, but he's still Dylan.
Suddenly, I remembered what Ean had told me along with the favor he asked. And so I spoke. "May gagawin ka ba, Dylan? I could use a company."
"Naku, pasensya na, ate. May gagawin pa po ako. Kailangan ko pa tumulong sa paghahanda eh," answered Dylan that disappointed me. I never really had the chance to fulfill my promise to Ean. All we had were small talks these past few days.
"Is that so?
I couldn't stop myself from smiling again from what he said. He may have grown and changed but he really is still a kid. He's like that little girl giving her teddy bear to someone to make someone feel of having protection. "Alright then, thank you."
I looked sideways as if I wanted a way out, but I know it's too late. So I remained on my seat with my head bowed down.
