Chapter 4: Shady

*Brendz

Heaving out a sigh as I tried to control my temper with everything that has been going on, I closed my eyes. Hindi 'yon nakatulong sa mood ko though. I could still hear the loud and nonsense chatter of this f*cking woman. Just when I thought that I could take a break from Ean's language then this piece of sh*t came along.

"Ah-- ano, Violet... kasi kailangan natin maging tahimik at--"

"Am I not silenting? I'm whispering with wings so there's no need to weary." My team was trying their best to control her but to no avail. Alam kong nahahalata na nila ang pagkainis ko judging from their eagerness to make Violet quiet. Alam din kasi nila na once ako ang magsalita, hindi nila magugustuhan ang mangyayari.

"Oo na, oo na! Basta tumahimik ka na muna habang nag-iisip si ma'am Brendz ng plano," the other guy said looking a bit annoyed as well. Well, he can't be blamed.

"Ok, ok! Basta ha kasama dapat ako sa planong 'yan. Hindi pwedeng mabaliwala paghihirap ko. Alam niyo bang muntik pa akong manakawan papunta--"

"Mahabaging amang Laksen naman! Kailan hihinto ang bibig ng babaeng 'to!" Cried the man while still controlling the volume of his voice. And that's when I felt myself just... snapped.

Mula sa nakasukbit na punyal sa hita ko, I grabbed it and pointed it at Violet with a sinister glare. "Say a word and I won't hesitate to cut your tongue."

"Hi--" She was about to speak but then she suddenly realized what I just said and decided to remain quiet. That was wise of her. Hindi talaga ako mag-aalangang putulin ang dila niya. Finally. A time to think of a plan. I couldn't help but say that to myself with the relief of finally making this woman quiet.

Bilang simula sa paggawa ko ng plano ay muli kong sinilip ang airship. Yes, an airship. My mission was to eliminate the bandits that were secretly hiding and transferring weapons illegally then bring back the weapons, but no one informed me about this. The mission turned out to be a stealth mission instead of a retrieval mission. Maging ang mga kasama ko nabigla nang ito ang madatnan namin. This alone gave me the idea that we're up against something big. Bigger than we realize.

I'm a Magicus Senior who specializes in stealth. Walang problema sa akin ang pasukin ang airship nang hindi nahuhuli. With me are two men; one is a Zoidiac Senior capable of basic intel gathering; the other is a Lilac Senior who acts as our healer. Sa pagdating ni Violet ay nadagdagan ang pwersa namin. She's a gifted Senior I must say, but there's a huge problem when I asked her about the extent of her abilities.

"Ako? Kaya kong manipulahin ang limang elemento. Apoy, tubig, hangin, lupa at kidlat."

That's what she told me. But upon asking her if she has done any stealth mission...

"Hala, oo! Hindi ka maniniwala sa nangyari! Misyon namin noon na iligtas ang hostage sa isang abandunadong lugar. Dapat tahimik kaming lalapit, kaso sa paglabas namin sa pinagtataguan namin ay kasabay din ng paglabas ng mga kalaban. Ang dami kasing pagsabog na nangyari. Dahil 'yon sa akin hahaha! Kaya ayun, 'yun na una't huli ko."

So how am I suppose to do this? Should I f*cking breach in alone? She's obviously not meant for this. I can't bring her with me. Kailangan kong mag-isip ng ibang paraan as quick as I can. If it's something this big, then mas lalong hindi na dapat ito magtagal. We have to act now before it's too late. I wonder what would Rake or Ean do at a time like this.
