The day after Mikey had left you out of the sudden, he returned and apologized for the day before, while he told he had to go home because his cat for some reason had disappeared, but that his brother Donatello luckily had found it again. Mikey had said he would visit you as often he could, and just as promised, he visited you nearly every day for the past weeks. While he was on visit you shared jokes, comic books and stories with each other, and he also helped you draw your  more of your sketches.

This night was though a little different from the others. You lied in your bed with your face down in the pillow crying your eyes out. Earlier that evening your mom had gone tired of you using your time on childish things and started tearing your room apart, or at least the things you found important.  She had with no hesitation removed your drawings and pictures from your wall ripping them in to a pile of shreds. You had begged and pleaded, but nothing could stop her. She almost got your comics as well, but before she could tear the second comic apart you had hid them all outside at the fire escape.

Now when you finally were left alone, you couldn't do anything, but mourn over the new memories you had made was gone. A small tap on your window was heard. You knew who it was, but simply just kept lying. One tap more was heard, before the sound of the window being opened filled your room.

"(Y/n)? It's me, Mikey," the familiar voice stated and sat on the edge of the bed. "What's up? Why didn't you open?"

You said nothing, but punted to the pile of shreds on your table and just kept wetting your pillow, which for Mikey worried him a lot. As Mikey looked the way you pointed a: "Oh.." escaped from him.

"S-She destroyed them all. Every single one," you told, before he could ask again.

"Aw..Please don't cry chica. Give me a smile." You looked up at him shortly, showing no sign of your usually happiness and laid your head back down again. Mikey didn't like seeing you so sad and tried hardly to think of something that could cheer you up.

You heard a sound of sobbing, but it weren't one of your own. You looked up towards Mikey and saw to your surprise, his eyes was filled with tears.

"M-Mikey? W-Why are you crying?" you sniffed and sat up wiping your nose.

"I-I can't h-help it! When y-you're not s-smiling, I can't e-either," he sniveled, before he wept loudly.  Seeing him like that made a small weird noise escape from you: a suppressed giggle. It wasn't because he cried you found it funny, but the fact that he was so silly to cry because of you.

"You're too much of a goofball," you smiled, letting your sadness fade. Seeing you smile, Mikey stopped his river too and grinned at you.

"I am, but it's that worth if I can see you smile." With his thumbs he brushed the last stains of tears away from your eyes. "Don't be sad. We can draw new drawings even better than the first once, so don't worry chica."

You smiled and nodded. With Mikey's encouragement you didn't feel as bad and somehow he knew how to comfort you, 'cause he got up and took colors and papers from your drawers and handed them to you.

"Let's make some new once you can hang up. It'll be awesome!"

"You really think we can do it?"

He sat down again and hugged you around your shoulders. "I more than think, I know. You and I are a awesome turtle team. No doubt on that!"

"You're right. Let's do it!"

All excited you took a pen and started your usually drawing routine. For some reason the ideas came rushing to your mind one after another letting you draw so much that you had more than enough to replace the old once. You drew and Mikey painted. Your system was smooth and you both laughed when Mikey came up with a new detail you could add to your creation.

A bunch of paper later, a lot of unsharpened pencils and a lot of fun, your room again had art on it's walls, better and cooler than the first once if you had to say it yourself, which wasn't necessary since Mikey repeated it over and over followed with some somersaults in the air.

"We did it," you said tiredly covering a yawn

"Someone's tired." Mikey smiled as he watched you trying to shake your head, but failed. Before you completely hit the hay, Mikey took a hold in you and brought you to bed, laying you down.

"Sweet dreams (Y/n)." The last thing you saw before you went out, was Mikey watching over you, making sure you were safe.
