Alright, so people say you never should mess with a girl after had made her angry. Those people ,however, should know that you never ever should mess with a girl who just had her heart broken.

You were aware that the dimensional Raphael didn't intentionally try angering you, but his simple presence made bad memories from four days ago return, fueling your temper enough to make you both aggressive and emotional.

You felt guilty about depleting the Hamato family's hospitality and making such a hard time for them, but there was nothing you could do as your view instinctively turned red every time you saw him. This evening wasn't different as you, master Splinter and the brothers gathered around the dinner-table.

"(Y/n), weren't you hungry?" Mikey asked, glancing at your untouched plate.

"I lost my appetite," you answered with arms crossed, not too discreet glaring at Raph who sat opposite of you. A wrinkle struck between his eyes, but other than that he ignored you completely. "But at least I didn't lose my self-respect."

It was a mean trick provoking him without reason, but even so you felt a little pleased that it worked. He raised his gaze to you frowning. "If you don't want to eat, then don't. But stop distube us who actually wants to."

"Why should I when you distube me?"

Your comment wasn't received well. Raph raised his voice. "What's your problem?! If you have something to say, spit it out already!"

"Raphael," Master Splinter warned, knowing what would come next.

You bolted from your chair, enough to topple it, with clenched fists. "Even from another dimension, you're still a jerk!"

Not sparing a look at anyone at the table you left the rat and turtles there, and ran towards the exit of the Lair. You hated the fact that even so far from the real Raphael, your heart still screamed agonizing every time at the hostile exchange you and this Raph had. You hated the fact you couldn't deny how broken you felt. You hated everything!

Been too caught up in your head, you first realized where your feet really had taken you when you stared down at New York City's busy street from one of the higher rooftops. You froze at the familiar view and suddenly it felt like your energy was taken from you. Your legs wobbled, and unable to bear your weight, you fell to your knees.

The city's view was just exactly as the one you had left. Cars, lights, noise, it was all something you had seen before, yet this wasn't your home. But if your home was neither here nor in the world you came from, where did you then belong?

"Why...Why did you have to save me," you said into the air, lowering your head in regret. "Why did I have to meet you and fall in love with you."

"I ask the same questions," a grumbling voice spoke behind you.

You gritted your teeth to keep your voice from cracking. "Why are you here?"

"I didn't exactly want to if that's what you're thinking," Raph mumbled. "I was shoved out here to see how you were doing."

"Just fine. Now leave," you said in a attempt to be threatening though, by the pitiful voice you managed, it wasn't very convincing. A pair of footsteps approached you and a faint shadow showed that he had knelt before you. He reached out to you, but you hastily swept it away. "I said I'm fine!"

To be all honest you weren't fine. For all you knew, you were anything but fine. Your body was cold and you felt unbelievable pathetic like you could crumble any moment. After four days you now had reached your limit.

Just as your body started trembling, and sobs pressed to escape, a careful hand touched your cheek and wiped away the tears there unnoticed had begun to fall. You lifted your head to be met with a somber expression. "You don't look like it."

Raph looked at you tensely, but as more tears stained your features, visible regret filled his gaze. If it had been a hour earlier you'd have fought the fingers there removed the water covering you face. However, in the condition of yours, you couldn't do anything but cry silently and suppress the excruciating scream you so badly wanted to let loose.

Startled the fingers vanished from your face, and instead you were brought into a warm embrace as Raph hugged you tightly. "W-Wha...!"

"I know you hate me," he muttered, interrupting your exclamation. "But for some reason I can't stand seeing you like this." He pressed you closer to his plastron and shocked you could hear his heart beat fast. "I-I know it's weird, but let me hold you."

You were jolted to your core by his request, and even if it may was wrong, you felt allured by it. It was a eternity since someone had held you so tenderly. The chaos inside of you decided your answer. You hid your head in the crook of his neck. You released your frustration in hot tears, and even as screaming, he held you tight.

Raph's POV
I knew I had screwed up big time the moment the elevator doors had closed and (Y/n) was out of sight. Just as quickly my temper had taken the better of me, it seeped out of my body just as fast, leaving a heavy feeling in my chest.

I had taken the elevator straight after her and searched the whole Lair, but she was gone completely with no signs to where.

I never saw her the following day nor the day after that.

Of all things I've ever done in my life, I regret what I said to her the most. I had said horrible things to her and she hadn't deserved it. Her expression of hurt and grief, I'll never forget. It haunt me every second I'm awake and every second I'm asleep. And I'm certain it will till the day my sais lose their wielder.

I don't know where she is, and I know I don't deserve her forgiveness, but...

Dammit!

I love her for Pete sake!

I love her so much and I want her to know. I want her to know I'm sorry. I was a fool and destroyed everything, like I do with everything else. I want her to know she was right. I wish she knew...knew how much she has changed my life.

I'd wish she could hear me now. Hear my promise.

Whatever happens, I'll find her.

I'll find (Y/n) and apologize, no matter what, even if I have to go through every inch of New York.
