Four days of waiting on a desperate hope you knew never would happen. That was how you had spend your time in the small version of the Hamato Lair. Just hoping a miracle would send you back to the world you belonged in.

But it never happened, because life really was cruel.

You didn't particularly dislike these laid-back and easygoing Turtles, but you had a hard time having four sorts of Mikeys around. Even worse you had a hard time staying in the same room as this dimension's Mikey. He hadn't stumped on your heart, but the larger version of him had, and you couldn't forgive that.

You had made it very clear from the beginning that you didn't want to be a part of any of the Turtles' activities. Conversations, games, dinner etc. Anything they invited you to, you turned down with a frown. Simply you isolated yourself from everything.

In a way, isolation helped, but at another thought, it didn't. It made dark thoughts and memories cloud your mind and filled you with emptiness and devastation. A condition which only got worse second after second.

Your reflection in the cup you were holding, showed a person who by no chance should've been you. The once cheerful and upbeat girl who was loved by so many, now didn't appear to be anything but a mere lifeless shell.

Mikey, your Mikey, had always made a smile appear when you thought of him. However, the only thing there appeared now was a bitter grimace much alike the face you always made when some your parents had made life meaningless for you.

You could hear laugher from the living room where the Turtles were gathered. You exhaled a breath and took a sip of your drink, which you quickly regret. The liquid was cold and had lost its sweet taste. Something you could relate to? Much likely.

A minor bump from the entrance to the kitchen caught your attention. You snapped your head towards the sound, and was surprised to find the dimensional Mikey in the act of sneaking around you.

You narrowed your eyes puzzled while noticing the broom he accidentally had knocked down by bumping into it. "What are you doing?"

Mikey rushed to change his position to look more innocent while grining awkwardly.  "Uh, eh. hey..." he greeted faking a surprised expression. "Ehm...That's funny this isn't the bathroom..."

"What are you doing?" you repeated, not falling for his awful acting.

"Eh, I'm.." Mikey glanced around him frantically and grabbed the first thing he could find, showing it to you. "I was looking for this!"

"The toaster?" you questioned doubtfully, eyeing the toaster, he had yanked out from the power-outlet in the wall.

"Huh? Oh...y-yeah, I was hungry." Sheepishly he placed it back down on the counter with a blush on his face. "You want some?"

Rolling your eyes you shook your head and went quiet, ending the conversation there. You looked back down at your cup thoughtfully, ignoring his existence completely. You could feel his unsure gaze at you, but you simply shrugged it off.

Mikey gazed at you intentionally for a moment, but considering you ignored him, he guessed you weren't against some company. He slowly approached and sat onto the chair beside you, making a big deal out of it to not brush against you.

He sat there silently, making your curiosity mixed with irritation peek as his continued staring at you as if he wanted to say something. At last after five minutes in silence you gave in and turned your attention to him with a frown.

"What do you want?" you asked annoyed, stretching every syllables to their fullest.

"It's just..." he started. "I thought, about the story you told us, and then I thought, about what I could do to make you feel less terrible..."

"Please just get to the point already."

He grinned sheepishly with an apologetically look before he continued. "It's just that you're always so serious."

"Not you too. What is it that makes you turtles so against being a little serious?!" You let go of your cup and began to stand from your chair. "Thanks, I'm feeling a lot better."

"No! Wait!" Mikey grabbed your wrist to stop you from leaving. "I just mean, I think the Mikey you fought with was upset about you being serious all the time, because he thinks your smile is pretty."

Taken off guard you stunned stared at him. "W-What?"

"I haven't seen it, but I bet you look really cute when smiling." Mikey send you a earnest look while smiling. "It's awesome you're serious, but don't forget to enjoy yourself sometimes."

You sat back into your chair paralyzed, not taking your eyes off him. You're head was a total mess with knew information there simply just didn't add up with anything in your head. As if he knew how bewildered you felt, Mikey continued to hold your wrist looking at you reassuring.

Mikey's POV
Raph is right. I destroy everything when I'm near it. I do that with Donnie's experiments, master Splinters training, Leo's stuff. And now I did it with my chica, my beloved (Y/n), and her smile.

All she wanted was some peace and quiet, but all I gave her was trouble and pain. I did that so easily. I told her I didn't want her here, but it was a lie. All I want is for her to be here with me, so I can see her cute smile and hear her sweet giggle.

I'm never serious about much, but about chica I was. I was serious about her and I together, and I was serious about my love for her. I can't tell her that now though, because she's never came back after we had yelled at each other.

I miss her so much. Without her nothing feels important nor whole. Like a rainy day without sun. A pizza without pepperonis. A flower without water. A night sky without stars. Like me without (Y/n).

Instead of giving her a reason to enjoy life and smile, I made her feel bad and cry. I wonder if she cries just as much as I do. I can't sleep when I don't know where she is. I can't wake up when I know she isn't there beside me.

Guys, she's the best thing that ever happened for me. I need her back. I need her in my life. What'll I do if I never find her? What'll I do if she's never taking me back.

I love her so much.

She's that one thing I can't be alive without.
