Love is an amazing thing everybody one day will experiences. Your heart are constantly pound in excitement, and the days are filled with hearts and smiles. Or that's at least how it is the first couple months. After the honeymoon-atmosphere wears off, reality kicks in and gives you all the worries and downers which belong in a relationship.

Now reality isn't bad, as it gives you the opportunity to test whether or not things will last. But for a couple consisting of two headstrong and hot-headed individuals, such a test is destined to go wrong.

A kid from your school had yesterday asked for help with a PE-class. Though you were surprised by the approach you had approved without any further resistance. After had told Raph about the agreement in the morning, he had promised to go pick you up afterward.

The tutoring took the most of the evening but went generally smooth. Finally calling it a day, you had wrapped in up and ended it at about 10pm. You had left the kid's place and ran to the spot you and Raph had agreed to just on time.

However, little had you ever imagined that you had to wait for so long. The clock had passed midnightalready and you had stood in the cold rain for about two and a half hour. You mood had already a dangerous angle in the wrong direction, yet still you checked your phone once more for the uncountable time, only to see neither of your calls nor texts had been answered.

This is unbelievable, you thought and lost your last patience. That moron has dumped me!

Growling angry, you wet and tired started walking back home. If you did a effort, you'd reach the Lair in about an half-hour. Hopefully, Raph would be there, and God mercy, without any sharp things you could get your hands on.

You reached the Warehouse about the time you first had presumed. The weather hadn't settled any less, but as exhausted and irritated you were, you didn't really notice your state of appearance any longer. You did, however, notice the abrupt laugher that echoed when you entered the Hamato's garage and that was what really pushed your buttons for good.

Inside was Casey and Raph cozily gathered near the Shell Cycle while chatting carefree about stupid stuff only a guy could chat about. Sudden heat spread through your body in waves. Of all things he could've used as a excuse...Had he dumped you for a chat with Casey? You clenched your hands into balls and stomped inside, passing them quickly.

Casey was the first one to notice you presence. He grinned sheepishly at you as if he didn't notice the lightening showing in your eyes.  "(Y/n), you look a bit wet."

"Shut up, Jones," you growled dangerously, causing Raph to notice you just as well.

"(Y/n)?" Unlike Casey, Raph immediately took note of your unfriendly attitude. Confusion printed into his features, he asked. "Have you walked the whole way home? Wasn't I suppose to go get you?"

You ignored him completely and instead headed briskly towards the elevator, only making Raph's bewilderment deepen. "Hey...Stop a second...What's wrong?" Not taking your head, he had the nerves to block your way. Much like you were playing tag, he followed your steps much to your dismay. "You could've called me if you wanted to go home earlier."

"And what should that help..." You clenched your fists further, restraining yourself from shouting. "...when you anyway make me wait IN HOURS!"

Raph's expression faltered, much like if he had gotten a slap to the face, and hurriedly pulled out his phone. Utter disbelief shone out from him.. "(Y/N), I'm really sorry. I had forgotten to put sound on, and the time just flew by with Casey..."

"Save the excuses." Interrupting him, you smoothly slid past him. "I don't care."

"C'mon, (Y/n)," Raph said, gripping your wrist to stop you. "I understand you're mad, but at least listen to my apology."

"Why should I? You cared for neither my calls nor texts," you snapped coldly and yanked his grasp off roughly. "Don't touch me!"

Scowling he reluctantly let go. Yes, he understood why you were angry, but still. Here he was, trying to say sorry, and you didn't even bother accepting it. "Stop act like you're on period. It's stupid. I'm trying to say sorry."

"And who said I wanted a 'sorry'?" you turned and threw right in to his face. "As I see it, I'm not the stupid one. That's you."

"What do you want from me then?!" Raph asked, his voice raised, nothing left of someone feeling guilty. "Do you want me to plead for forgiveness? Let me tell you, that's not going to happen."

"I guess not, 'cause your freaking pride are against showing and signs of care, right?" you yelled, loud enough to make almost anybody fear your wrath. "But that match fine. After all you're just a arrogant jerk!"

Somehow the conversation had turned 380 degrees in very few seconds. Any indication of just a little rationality seemed to have left the both of you, leaving only the look of someone who was ready to kill. Raph's eyes blazed while they met your glaring ones. The steam erupting from you both were dangerous like sparks were mingling between you.

"Don't start talking," he roared. "I'm not the one constantly complaining, the one who always need attention, 'cause 'Gosh, life is soo hard against me'."

"I need attention?!  Your cool-guy-soft-guy complex isn't very humble either!" you retorted. "I'm so sick of having to deal with you! Turtle ninja or whatever, you'll always just be a freak...!"

By the blink of a eye, the prong of a sai were pointed at you threateningly, immideatly removing any other words from your tongue. "I'm not the freak. Try me, but I'm not." For instant you stared at each other. "The freak always have been you."

Intense and heavy silence followed after the statement. Whether Casey was brave or an idiot, wasn't to be clear, but after had watched the entire scene, he finally seemed to find the timing to interfere. Awkwardly he stepped between you and tried to lower Raph's sai from your throat. "Guys...seriously. I'm no expert in relationships, but when you love each oth..."

"I don't."

You could bear a lot. Insults, punches, heck even Casey's momentous flirting, but the infinite seriousness in Raph's simple statement, wasn't one of them. Your eyes stung with suppressed tears, which were a mix of anger and sadness. You waited for him to call it a joke, however, it never happened. He meant it seriously. So, so did you.

"I hate you!" you screamed at him.

The long awaited elevator had appeared from the floor. Without doing any signs to stay there, you stepped inside of it. The doors closed painfully slowly, separating you just at same pace from Raph and Casey.

Your head was filled with things, but the adrenaline in your veins made it hard to concentrate on it. Just as you were about to punch the wall, your eyes caught an unbelievable sight. Bewildered you managed to squeak as a colorful puddle had formed under you like a whirlpool. You opened your mouth to cry for help, but a moment too late as you were swallowed whole by the floor.

In the Lair the elevator arrived to its destination. The doors opened just as slowly like earlier, revealing an empty space.
