"Excuse me," you timidly questioned one of the passing by students. "Excuse me, I'm new and lost. Do you know where-...No? A-Alright. T-Thank you..."

Although, you promised Donnie you'd do your best and accept the challenge of starting up a new life on your new school, you never had imagined that you'd start it off by getting lost the minut you arrived at the campus.

By the school's layout and from the pictures you had seen, you knew the school was large, as it had to house the many thousand students as well as staff-members living on the school. However, large or not, the overwhelming crowd on the school had confused you and you had quickly lost your way and sense of direction.

Trying to ask your way back on track showed to be quite a hassle, as every single person you asked seemed to be busy with there own doings. IT wasn't like, they weren't friendly towards you, they just didn't have time for you.  

Carrying your luggage with you around you found another person who was about to go past you. Taking a deep breath to increase your courage, you tried a seventh time to ask for help, stepping out in front of her.

"Excuse me, I'm new. Do you know where-..."

"I'm sorry, sweetheart, but I'm running late to class," she replied giving you a quick look, before passing past you without waiting for your polite 'thank you' in return of her non-given help.

You sighed downhearted, as looking after her. Seeing as the rest of the road had emptied, you no longer had anyone else to ask for direction. And although, you didn't want to, it seemed as if you had to wait for the next period to begin to try your luck there.

What a way to begin your first day.

Turning around in the hope to find yourself a spot you could sit and wait, you startled to go face first into something rock-hard. You stumbled back a couple of steps, but someone grabbed you quickly by the wrist and pulled you forward into something warm, before you could fall.

"Woah, careful there," a boy voice spoke close to your ear. "Are you alright?"

Disorientated by the suddenness, you confused turned your gaze up towards the sound, but had your breath taken away, when your eyes met with a pair of brown ones, gazing down at you worried.

The person you were staring up at was a tall, dark-haired boy with a set of headphones in each ears, while one of them had fallen out. Under his purple t-shirt, you could feel a strong chest underneath, which you in fact right now was pressed against. From the corner of your eyes, you could make out, he was wearing dark blue jeans.

For a moment you simply blinked, but when finally comprehending your position in a stranger's embrace, your face by seconds showed scarlet red with embarrassment. He had saved you from falling, but you had WALKED DIRECTLY INTO HIM!

"H-Hey! You're bleeding," the boy stuttered and let you back onto your feet, as he roamed around in one of his pockets. Finally finding what he searched for, he pulled out a handkerchief and pressed it towards your nose. "Here, please take this. I'm sorry, I didn't see you."

"I-It's alright. It was my fault..." you uttered, and took the handkerchief. "This is so embarrassing. Getting lost and now walking into you on my first day..."

Widening his eyes a bit, the boy tilted his head. "Wait, it's your first day? Mine too. I was about to go to the office to get registered."

"Really? I couldn't find my way around. This place is gigantic," you replied.

"No kidding," he chuckled, and reached a hand out towards you. "My name is Dade Mozou. I know the way to the office, so how about we follow?"

You shook his hand with your free one, smiling softly as your blush faded. "My name's (Y/n) (L/n), and I'd love that."

Getting your luggage, you and Dade together headed towards the office. For some reason, the conversation between you flowed naturally, and you ended up spending the rest of the day in each other's company.

Let the three years begin.
