You had shared Leonardo's room with the girls for a month. Now as events, had left specially the leader in blue with lack of sleep, you along with the rest of the girls had moved out to instead share a room with your dearest Turtle.

Donatello was the ideal male-roommate. He was sweet, nice and considerate of timing like occasions where you were changing clothes or simply did something there weren't for a still new-created couple to be shared. He even let you call the room like your own. His way of welcoming you there were at its finest. However, the routines inside the room was everything but fine.

Even though the guys already used all their time training or be at a patrole on the surface, there was more to add on the list that kept Don from sleeping. He was the smartest and most suited one for the role of 'doctor' in the family, meaning he had to treat the wounds from their fights, meanwhile he also had to be the genius and engineer whenever something broke in the Lair.

You already were well-aware that Donnie used 97% of his time in his lab and had a obsession of coffee, but the way things were now was really really NOT healty at all, which worried you incredible.

Don had worked non-stop for 3 days in a row. Now he finally had returned to his room, but to no surprise he still was working. You stepped over to his chair timidly and laid your hands on his shoulders.

"Donnie, shouldn't you get some rest?" you asked worried. "It's late and..."

At your words the tapping just got faster and faster on the keyboard. Though you were afraid to be a nuisance, you went beside him and waved a hand in front of his face blocking the view to the screen. This time you succesfully caught his attention.

"H-Huh?!" Don yelped hoarsely, his whole body protesting for the sudden us of his throat. "Is it already time for coffee? No...wait...(Y/n)? Did you need anything?"

You shook your head with a expression of sadness. "Everything I need, is for you to sleep," you replied.

"I can't do that, (Y/n). I love you, but I can't," he told tiredly, running a hand over his face. "I have to keep a eye in the alarm system and police-radio. If I fall asleep it'd be bad." He pushed his chair out and turned it so you were face to face. "I'm sorry."

"It'd be bad too if you faded off, 'cause you didn't took care of yourself. Really Donnie, I'm worried. Please just rest."

For a moment his face was clouded with hesitation, but seeing your glassy eyes he sighed. Before you knew of it a set of arms held around you tightly. "Alright, but just a minut..."

Don pulled you carefully closer, leaning his head on your stomach. You blushed madly, due to the position you were in, but at the same time smiled happy being able to convince him. His breathing got slower and so did your heart when it had adjusted to long-lasting hug. To make it more comfortable for the both of you, you sat onto his lap and hugged him, still letting him use you as a pillow.

"Maybe...just a little longer..." Don gave in with a tired mumble. "If it's okay you stay with me a little longer."

"Of course, as long you want," you replied. It was obvious to feel he was just as happy for your reply as you were happy he relied on you for a change.

Gratefully he kissed your cheek, before laying his head back and fell asleep just as as soon it touched you. He snored quietly, but even in his sleep Donnie's arms were wrapped around you protectively like afraid you'd vanish.

Feeling even more comfortable with Donnie than in any bed, you laid your head on his shoulder and let your eyes close in a nice sleep.
