Hey there, everybody!
God, it's so long since, and I'm so sorry, I haven't been updating!
To keep my last update short, I've started in high school and I'm busy and tired as shell.
It's, of course, not excusing my long delay, but please bare with me.
It has made me so happy and motivated to see people wants me to update and still support me, even for so long.
I'll try my best to get back on schedule, but I may still be a little out of tune till I find some spare time!

I hope y'all have a lovely time and will enjoy!

Like any other vacation, whether they're good or not, then they have to come to an end at some point. Sadly this meant, after two weeks of sightseeing from the smallest to biggest attraction in the large regions, your last evening in Japan had finally arrived, and you'd tomorrow night be back in New York's aviation.

Somehow, it was sad. You held so many memories here. So many good, as embarrassing, ones. You still barely understood a word which was exchanged in Japanese, but it hardly affected the impact this trip had done on you. Even if you only had been here in two weeks, then it had been two unforgettable weeks.

So, of course, your last night should end with a BOOM.

And that pretty much was how you ended up at festival late evening. After had eaten a great feast, Mikey had used the whole afternoon to make, you, Leo and the respective brothers and girlfriends decided to attend the local festival in the city, as a wrap up for your vacation.

The clock had struck, and now there only was a little but an half hour left, before the time said midnight, indicating the last phases of the festival: The fireworks. From what Leo had told you, the fireworks at the Japanese festivals always were the heart of the party, and usually also the most favored event for couples. So, of course, you were going to watch it too.

But before that the rest of the booths, games and not least food, the festival could offer, had to be tried. Through the past hour you and Leo had used time on playing various activities and go from one end of the square to the other. And, though, that may not sound like much, then walking a whole mile either way, wearing a kimono and a pair of getas can quickly turn tiring and even painful.

At last your energy had worn out and you stopped up in the middle of the street, groaning at the agony your feet were going through. How could it be a dressing-tradition? Getas were everything but nice to go in. Rather than protecting your feet, they seemed much more useful to harm them.

Leo, a few feet In front of you, who had been walking beside you, finally seemed to notice your absent at his side. Turning around he saw your pained expression, and by one glance to your feet understood why. Quickly he retraced his steps back to you, and draped an arm around your waist, to support you as much possible.

"Are you alright?" he questioned concerned. "Maybe, you shouldn't have insisted on wearing getas, (Y/n). Normal shoes would've suited just as much..."

"No." You shook your head, ignoring your feet's agony. "You said, it was a tradition for Japanese families. Your family are Japanese too, so..."

Leo send you a light smile. "It's nice you care about my family, (Y/n), but my family are Americans too. You don't need to worry, no one would blame you for not going all out."

"N-No..." You groaned, when the weight on your feet shifted from one to the other and hand your head sadly. "Sorry..."

"Don't worry," Leo soothed and held you tighter. "Let's find a place to sit, alright? Eating are a Japanese tradition too."

Although, you knew he most likely only said that to make you feel better, you nodded, trying to be positive. Leo let go of your waist and instead moved to stand in front of you crouching down, as if expecting for you to climb up. You hesitated for a moment, before deciding with yourself to accept Leo's kind offer to help.

You climbed up onto his shell like a piggyback and wrapped your arms around his shoulders, as he stood and adjusted your into the most comfortable position. After had checked up on you, he carefully began to walk towards the direction you earlier had headed. After a little stroll, you finally found a available bench in the center of the festival. Leo hoisted you down with same carefulness, as he had lifted you up with, letting you slide off his shell and onto the bench.

"It's midnight soon," you told, glancing at your phones clock.

"Let's watch it from here then. We should have a good enough view and you'll still be able to rest."

Again you nodded, letting a quiet silence get in between you. So much for a dste, when you ruin it, by letting Leo worry about you It wasn't, however, only your date that was ruined. The silence ended when your stomach, without notice, started rumbling loudly in protest. Your face immediately turned red, making a laugh escape your boyfriend.

"Right, we should get us something to eat," he said, not mentioning the rumbling that only continued to grow. "I'll be right back."

Giving you a pat on the head encouraging, he went off in a search for food. You waited a short while for him, but moments later he returned, carrying three things on sticks. You had no clue what was called nor what it was made of.

What is that...?" you questioned curiously.

"Yakitori, ringo-ame and cotton candy," he replied and sat down next to you. "I thought, you should taste something new. Try this first."

He handed you the stick he called 'yakitori'. Although you could see what it was, it looked delicious and you had enough trust in Leo to assume he wouldn't poison you. You lifted it to your mouth and took a bite. Much to your surprise and delight it was only a juicy grilled chicken with a sweet and savory sauce. After one bite the next came quickly and before you knew of it, it had been eaten and a smile on your lips had showed.

"Good enough?" Leo questioned with a chuckle.

"Totally!" you answered with no delay.

"Then, what about this one?"

The next thing you were given was the ringo-ame, which Leo simply translated for you as apple coated with a crunchy sugar candy and toffee. You bit down and just like how he described it, a sweet taste spread in your mouth. This time you ate a little slower to enjoy it a little more.

The clock turned midnight and a rang sounded over the festival. Barely had the last rang echoed, before a loud explosion over you filled the sky with simple, yet beautiful color such as silver, golden and blue.

Watching this moment together, you and Leo's hand found together Leo give you his last purchased item, which were a traditional cotton candy. But instead if taking it, you shook your head lightly.

A lot of things needed to be shared. This moment, the cotton candy. The future.
