At some point after have been locked out of your own room for a month, it wasn't surprising to see Leo beat up. The guys had been incredible active on the surface lately, since the Purple Dragons were on the run. Obviously it had taken a great hit on the guys, having fought many days in a row with little sleep. Most of all it had effected Leo most and you could tell without a doubt.

Simply your boyfriend was way too noble. You heard him leave a respective brother's room he had slept at early every morning and began the daily training. Once you had tried to ask him about it, worried he didn't get enough sleep. He had replied he couldn't sleep longer, even though he was allowed to. He wanted to give his brothers the best possible rest, not caring whether or not it had consequences for him. When you had suggested him to sleep in his own room he refused, not wanting to kick you nor the rest of the girls out just like that.

When the lack of sleep had gone to its worst, you had taken a decision and discussed the matter with everybody. The deal had happened quickly and no one was against it: Each girl moved to the respective Turtle's room, while Leo got his room back. That was how you and LEo ended up sharing the same room.

After (D/g), as the last person, had left and closed the door behind her. You and Leo stood back in his, now yours, still rather neat room. You made a side gaze at your boyfriend's features. His before so reluctant grimace had turned into one of relief now that you were alone. As he yawned you grabbed the hand he used to cover his mouth with and tucked it towards his bed.

"C'mon, bed time for you," you told, pulling him to bed.

Leo smiled slightly and let you guide him to bed. He laid down obedient, while you giggled seeing him already half a sleep. You kissed his beak, before attempting to leave. Catching you off guard, you to your surprise were pulled backwards in to bed, embraced from behind with a pair of protective arms.

"L-Leo?"

"Don't go (Y/n)," he prayed, rubbing his head against your back affectionately. "Stay here a little longer."

You heart fluttered in your chest. His actions were different from normal, making you unbelievable nervous. If anyone else had done so, you'd be at unease for secret intentions, however with Leo it felt nothing but nice.

You smiled wryly. "Alright, if it's okay."

You laid down beside him and let Leo hold you closer to his plastron. You heard him sigh relaxed near your ear, only causing your puls to run a little marathon through your veins. You were so close like never before and it felt like the most natural thing in the world. You felt his muscles relax to the point where you thought he was sleeping. Or so you thought.

"(Y/n)?"

"Mhm?"

"With you near, I can't help but think I'm the luckiest person alive," he mumbled quietly, though his words were strong. "I'm grateful I met you."

You hugged the arms which were wrapped around you tightly. "Me too."

Leo covered you with the quilt, placing a soft kiss on on top of your (h/l) (h/c) hair. This time when your heard his breathing slow down you knew this time he was asleep for real. You turned your head only enough to see he was smiling in his sleep.

Smiling yourself, you turned back cuddling closer to him. Feeling precious and happy with synchronized heartbeat as the person you loved, you closed your eyes and joined the land of dreams.
