Young, wild and in school - Michelangelo

After the taxi had let you off on the parking-lots belonging to the school, you had decided to take a walk, before registering yourself at the office, because, heck, sitting in a taxi for hours straight was hardcore stuff.  But walking around proved pretty quickly also not to be easy either, as your immediate new home was GIGANTIC!

Like, seriously, you had seen some of your fellow students walk around with a map in their hands. A bigger size school couldn't possibly exist. It was ridiculous. The dorms, where the students' rooms were, were almost the size of a shopping-mall worth. The main-building had its own fountain. And the campus even had its own shops.

So basically the place had everything.

Or that said; everything besides Mikey.

Not having spoken with an abnormal turtle in orange for 24 hours felt weird, considering as you used to talk together at every given chance. Maybe, that told a lot about your mental state at the moment. Your life had consisted of 99 percent of ninjas and Turtles ever since you had met Mikey. Being brought back into the world of actual humans were something you had to get used to once again.

"H-Hey! W-Wait up!" A boy's voice suddenly cut into your train of thoughts.

Startled you stopped dead on the spot, spinning around after the unfamiliar voice. Were you starting to imagine things or was someone actually calling for you? How? You didn't know anybody here at all, so why would...

"Finally! You stopped!" a way to cute boy exclaimed, as he turned a corner and headed directly towards you, obviously panting lightly, as he sprinted to you at full speed. When he, at last, reached you, he stopped in front of you, bending forwards out of breath. "G-Geez, you're so-...So fast."

"Uh, sorry? Do-...Do I know you?" you wondered out loud, not knowing how to react.

"Not right now, no," the boy responded, raising himself so you could get a better look at his appearance.

The boy was the ideal example of anime cute. He only just barely reached a few inches over your head, while his light-brown, almost blond, hair was a mess. His eyes shone brightly with a baby-blue color, and a smile was definitely playing upon his lips. Wearing an orange hoodie and a pair of dark-blue jeans the boy could easily be mistaken for a mischievous angel.

"But why-..."

"You dropped this," the boy interrupted, answering your question before you could state it. From a pocket, he revealed your scholarship invitation and banded it to you. "(Y/n) (L/n), right? You have a pretty name."

With wide eyes, you took the invitation from him. "Thank you..."

Earlier you had taken out your invitation to check if you still had it with you. Accidentally, you must've dropped it somewhere while walking, not noticing it slip out of your hands.

"I lost mine last year too, such a hassle to find it again, I'll tell you," the boy explained and chuckled at the memory, before turning his eyes to yours. "I'm Yoru Mozou, between. It's nice to meet you."

This guy certainly was straightforward. Like another person, you knew very well...

You gave him a genuine smile. "it's nice to meet you too, Yoru. Thank you for your help. I'm grateful.*

He sent you a cheerful wink. "No biggie! We scholars need to take care of each other, right?"

"Yeah, we do."

"Hey, I know! (Y/n), what about I give you a tour? I mean, I get lost here all the time, even though, I've been here for a year. But if we get lost, then it's at least better we get lost together, right?" he suggested without a care in the world, making you giggle.

Without that much thought, you accepted his offer to act as your guide. Yoru was right, you got lost several times, but for some reason, you didn't mind. For the rest of the day, you were together, deepening a new friendship.

Three years to go.
