~Keith's POV~
We were playing in the sand
It was a nice warm day at the beach.
And you found a little band
Lance turned as he found an elastic band, he picked it up with a smile.
You told me you fell in love with it
He sighed as he told me about how it reminded him of his last relationship.
Hadn't gone as I planned
Then he told me how his partner died.
When you had to bid adieu
Lance turned and said goodbye.
Said you'd never love a new
Then told me how he couldn't love someone else.
I wondered if I could hold it
Besides how much I crushed on Lance, I couldn't tell him.
And fall in love with it too
I looked at him.
"You told me to go buy a pony but all I wanted was you," I said.
Both of our eyes widened. He began crying a little, then his body slowly by slowly disappearing as sand in the wind. I began crying, breaking down, and freaking out.
"I'm sorry I wasn't good enough." I cried.
