Thursday, Dec 5th
Natsu found a kitten and didn't tell me until 2 days after. He showed up at my door with the kitten.
This is before we're about to go to school.
"It was crying and about to die, I couldn't just leave it there" Natsu argued.
The kitten got out of Natsu's lap and began to roll around on the floor.
I sighed at Natsu.
"It's just for today Lucy, please" He begged.
He wants me to take care of the kitten after school since I don't have work today.
It's adorable, take it Lucy.
I crouched down to the floor and put my hand out.
It began to rub its head on my hand.
"Fine" I said. "Ill take care of it just for today"
"Thanks a lot Lucy, I already leave it at home during school days, so at least I know it's safe" Natsu said.
"I guess I'll be taking care of you after school today" I said to the kitten.
It replied with a meow. I left the kitten in my room with food and water.
Natsu and I headed to school. Sting and Yukino were waiting for us outside the school.
"Finally you guys decided to join us" Sting said.
"Sorry, we were talking about something important" Natsu said.
"Oh? Fill me in on the details" Yukino said pulling me in.
Natsu gave me a soft smile.
"So what are you going to wear for the Christmas party?" She asked.
"I'll grab some shirt and jeans from my closet" I answered still being dragged.
"That's boring though, you could always come with me and the girls when we're going shopping" Yukino said.
We should answer this based in our past experience.
"Sure" I said.
WHY DID YOU SAY SURE, WE COULD HAVE JUST DUG INTO OUR CLOSET.
It's a chance to meet the girls coming to the party.
I hate your reasoning skills.
"This is perfect!" Yukino exclaimed. "They've heard things about you from Natsu but they want to see it first hand"
I probably shouldn't have said sure, well too late now.
I put on a smile.
Natsu and Sting caught up to us.
"What's going on?" Sting asked.
"Lucy and I are going shopping with the girls." Yukino said.
I could feel Natsu's gaze rest on me. I pretended not to see him.
The bell rang and I walked to my locker.
I opened it and grabbed the items. I entered the class and sat down.
"So Lucy, mind explaining?" He asked.
"It'll give me a chance to meet some of the girls that are coming" I replied.
"There's only 2 out of all of them you haven't met" Natsu stated.
"Well I guess I'll meet them then" I said.
