Clawed Hearts

Chapter 1

"Master Sky, may naghahanap po sa inyo."

Sino?! Mapapatay ko talaga ang taong naghahanap sakin. Ginugulo niya ang pagbabasa ko!

"How many times do I have to tell you not to interrupt me when I'm reading?" 

"P-patawad po, Master Sky. Nagpupumilit po kasi si Master R-."

"Sino?!"Sigaw ko. Bakas sa mukha ni Ram ang takot. Napayuko na lang siya.

Whoever he is, He's such a nuisance and a disturbance too. He'll pay for this. I rip his head off. I swear! Brutal ba? Wala kayong pake.

"Now, tell me. Who's that shit?" Sasagot pa lang sana si Ram ay hindi na rin niya nagawang ituloy ito dahil may nagbukas na ng pinto ng kwarto ko. Halos mapanganga ako nung nakita ko ang pinsan ko.

"Hey? Hey?" Nahiga siya favorite couch ko. Nakataas pa ang mga paa niya. Eh couch ko yun! "Who are you calling shit? Are you referring to me? The Oh so handsome me? Ha? Ha?" Sabi niya habang nakangiti.

"Oh crap! What are you doing here?! Ram! Call the guards quick! Get this shit out of my house!"

"Hep hep!" Pagpigil niya kay Ram. "Ram, don't you ever dare do that, as in never. Ayaw mo pa namang mamatay di ba?" Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Ram sa narinig niya.

"Ram! I'm your boss here! Aren't you afraid of what I can do to you?!" Pero umiling siya.

"S-sorry po Master. Gusto ko pa pong mabuhay." At tumakbo palabas ng kwarto ko. Langya!

"So, w-what now?! Umalis ka nga dito!"

"Why? Am I not allowed here?" I slightly shook my head. "Oh come on Sky. I'm your cousin and also your best friend. I can come here anytime I want."

"Tss."

"O-hoy! Fix yourself! Alis tayo! Feast ngayon. I'm sure as hell mag-e-enjoy ka."

"Mag-enjoy? You're only telling it to yourself. Ikaw lang mag-eenjoy, hindi ako." Kinuha ko ang libro ko at nagsimula na ulit magbasa. "Kaya Rain, umalis ka na muna. Busy ako."

Tumayo siya, naglakad papunta sa may pintuan.

Maybe he's leaving. Great!

Ngunit tumigil siya sa paglalakad at humarap sa akin. I was really shocked with what I saw. Nabitawan ko tuloy ang libro ko. My knees are now starting to jitter. Rain's brown eyes suddenly shifted into flashing golden eyes. Oh crap. That scares me big time! Really!

"H-hey! W-what's with t-those eyes? Oh crap, c-c-cut it out!" Shit. I'm now stuttering.

"Aren't. You. Coming with me?" said Rain in his deep yet thrilling cold voice.

"NO!" I shouted it in full authority.

Darrell growls a little. Pinakita pa niya ang mga nagtatalasan at nagtutulisang pangil niya.

"Okay! Okay! I'm coming with you! Fine I'm coming with you! Just don't show that fucking transformation again!"

Rain laughs out hard. "Ha! Ha! Ha! Nice. Its still working." And laugh again. Seriously, is he now out of his nuts? "So, kailangan pa pala kitang takutin bago ka sumama sa akin?" Then laugh again. "Look at your face! Man, this is epic!"

"SHUT UP?! SASAMA NA NGA AKO DI BA?" Natigilan siya. Bumalik na sa dati ang mga mata niya.  Nakakaasar na talaga, bakit ba tiklop ako dito kay Rain.

Oh hi! I'm Sky Tregobouff and I'm seventeen, son of King Gregory. Rain's right. He's my cousin and my best friend too. Halos sabay na kaming lumaki. Laging magkasama sa lahat. Hindi naman kasi ako pinapayagan makipaglaro sa ibang lobo. Kaya no choice. Pero dahil lagi kaming magkasama, madami akong nakikita sa kanya na hindi ko nakikita sa sarili ko. Tulad nung nangyari kanina. Am I really a werewolf? If I am, why do I look so different from others? I don't have those fur. I don't have those teeth. I don't have those eyes and I don't have those claws. Am I really one of them? Ugh. This sucks.
