SUNSHINE & IVAN...

'Daddy will you and mommy get back together?'

Ivan looked at his daughter wondering where that idea came from.

'Babygirl I hope we do. Why do you ask?'

'I heard her tell aunt Roxy and aunt Maya that you guys went on a date.'

Ivan and Sunshine's four year old said. You could see that she was his twin with her skin color,head shape and eye color but had her mother's eyes and lips. She had both her father and mother's characteristics mixed with her own.

'What did she say about our date?'

'Do you really want to know?'

She asked with a hand on her waist and her mother's attitude. Ivan smiled and shooked his head yes.

'Well.. She said that she enjoyed it.'

'Are you sure that's what she said?'

Bella shook her head yes and continued to eat her nuggets and chips as Ivan thought about what his daughter said. He knew nothing would make her more happy than them to get back together and make her a flower girl as she had expressed on many occasions when they had their daughter and father time.

'Daddy why are you and mommy not married?'

'Because daddy was dumb princess. I was young and stupid.'

Bella nodded her head as if she understood what he meant.

' You know mommy has a boyfriend and he says he will marry mommy.'

'Your mother has a boyfriend!'

Bella nodded even though he wasn't asking a question,he was repeating what she said out of shock.

' Oh. Let's get you home before your mother calls the police.'

Ivan and Bella ran into the house when they heard Sunshine scream from the inside. They found her drenched in water from head to toe.

'What happened?'

'I tried fixing this stupid tap and all the water splashed on me.'

She cried out. Bella and her father snickered trying to hide their laughter since Sunshine was clearly frustrated and when frustrated she cries as she was currently.

'Give me that let me fix it for you.'

Ivan attended to the leaking pipe while Sunshine went up to change and their daugther watched cartoons in the living area. She came back down and found him done and shirtless in her living area. She could not help but drool over him. It had been a long time since she was touched in certain places and loved. He smiled when he noticed her starring and biting her lower lip.

'Thank you.... would you like to join us for dinner?'

She said as she attended to dinner and he gave her her spanner back.

'I don't know,I don't want to get you in trouble with your man.'

There was confusion evident on Sunshine's face wondering what Ivan was on about.

'Where did you get the idea that I have a boyfriend?'

'Our daughter'

Sunshine called her daugther who came running into the kitchen.

' Yes mommy'

'Princess where did you get the idea that I have a boyfriend?'

'Snitch!'

She said to her father who held his chest faking hurt.

'Well uncle Marcus said he's going to marry you.'

'Oh honey,Uncle Marcus was just playing. Mommy doesn't have a boyfriend and do not tell people mommy has a boyfriend.'

Ivan kept a calm exterior as he rejoiced internally. He knew Marcus was the security guard who worked in Sunshine's gallery and he always suspected he liked her. Now that he was sure she was single he was definitely pursuing her forgiveness and love,not like a boyfriend was going to stop him. They would be a family again.
