I SAW AN ANGEL /OF THAT I'M SURE/ SHE SMILED AT ME ON THE SUBWAY....

' He beat me up and raped me. Just as soon as he released inside of me,his friends called for him. He left me on the floorand went club hopping. While I was covered in blood and in pain, he said he would be back. I stayed on that floor for hours crying because I couldn't move. Had no way of contacting anyone and every one had gone home for the holidays so screaming wasn't an option. .................................................'

There was a long pause before she continued to tell the story of how AJ was conceived and how she met her husband.

'I stayed in one place till morning.... I was startled from my sleep by the sound of keys jiggling in the front door. I tried to crawl away to the bathroom but he caught me before I could get far. I screamed with my eyes closed but he shushed me and that's when I realised that it wasn't Ted but it was Aalam. I wondered what he was doing here because he too had gone home. He saved me that day. Unfortunately I was afraid to report him because of his father's power.'

Gabriella comforted her bestfriend by rubbing her back as tears slid down her cheeks as she told her story.

'I never got medical help for my bruises and a few weeks later I found out I was pregnant. He was by my side through the weird cravings,the morning sickness and mood swings. He even made sure to bring me my schoolwork.'

Nicole asked if AJ was Ted's,she replied with a yes and explained that AJ was named after Aalam as her way of thanking him for his help. After a much needed group hug,it was Kelly's turn to tell of how she met Amadeo. Nicole and Lillian had shared their story.

' Remember I told you guys that I met Amadeo when he came to enrol his cousin in my dance school. It was lust at first sight. '

The girls laughed at her last statement. Star came running out to the pool area with Kelly's phone in her hand. She went away to answer her call while the ladies continued.

' I met Ray in my second year of high school,he approached me on the day I dumped my cheating ex boyfriend. We started dating a few months later.'

The women could sense the sadness in her voice. She forced a smile when Roxy who was nearest to her squeezed her hand.

'Byron and I grew up together but he never noticed me while growing up till I got to high school. He is my first everything and before you ask he is not the only man I slept with but I never cheated on him. We broke up twice in the thirty yes we have been together and while we were apart I dated a guy.'

Gabriella explained..

'Maliq and I grew up together too but our mothers did not like each other much. So we only played together in the streers ended up dating in high school and broke up when we both left for different colleges to reunite four years later.'

Jade told her story. The children continued to play in the play room. As Sunny told them of how she met Ivan also in college. She was friends with Gabriella,who hooked them up. They enjoyed the night before Roxy went into labour which was unexpected because she had not completed her nine months.
