MAXINE & NICOLE...

Maxine paced up and down her office with her smartphone in her ear calling Nicole for the thirtieth time that day. She sighed frustrated when her calls went unanswered. She had been trying to call her since they had sex and she woke up to an empty bed. She hated how sex sedated her.

' You should just go see her,it's not like you do not know where she lives.'

Her assitant Mrs. More, an elderly lady said as she noticed her throw her smartphone in frustration onto the couch in the reception before sitting down on it.

'I did, she won't answer the door.'

'Then wait for her outside her place,you do know what time she comes and goes right?'

'yes...but isn't that a little stalkerish?'

' You know for all the years I have been your assitant. Honey I've never seen you act like this because of a girl.'

'I- I don't know myself.... She makes me feel some type of way. Have you ever met someone and all you can think about is them. You wish you could see them every minute of every day. When I am with her I want to tell her my life story and all my deepest secrets. When I am with her we can sit in silence for hours and be comfortable and not awkward. Since the first day I met her all I've wanted to do is kiss her and when I finally did,it was the happiest moment in my life. It hurts to know that she might want nothing to do with me.'

'Then be a little stalkerish if you have to... love is worth fighting for my child.'

'Mrs. More I wouldn't call it love,love is such a strong word.'

'Oh it definitely is love. Trust am old lady.'

Maxine just smiled to her as she headed to her apartment.

'Lily just talk to me. '

Lily stopped walking and climbed into Maxines car that had been following her since she got off the bus.

'Why have you been ignoring me?'

Lily looked out the window without responding.

'Lillian did I do something wrong..... if I did just please tell/'

'There's nothing you did wrong.... it's just me.... I did the one thing I promised myself that I would never do,I became the other woman.'

'Nico-'

'Wait let me finish..... I do not know how it happened or when but I think I like you. more than a friend or babysitter.... I think I might be falling for you ..and the last time I felt like this about someone she threw my heart away... so I have been avoiding you so as to try not fall for you any deeper. As I know nothing can become of us since you're in a relationship.'

Maxine waited to know if she had finished what she wanted to say,afraid of being cut off like before. When she looked away,she knew she was done.

'Nicole I do not know what happened in your last relationship but trust me I don't want to break your heart and I promise to take good care of it and never leave you if only you can give me a chance... Nicole I think I have fallen for you too.'

'What about your girl?'

Nicole looked at her wondering if she was being honest with her and if she was what about his girlfriend but before she could ask that she found her lips attached to Maxine's as the shared a sensual kiss. Nothing can compare to this kiss from a woman.
