' can I have his diaper bag.'

Jade held out her hand as Maliq stood in her doorway holding on to their son's diaper bag. He was trying to stall since he knew as soon as he handed her the bag,the door would be shut in his face without another word and he would see the other side of it when he came to collect his son over the weekend.

' Jade,babe can we atleast talk. Please give me a minute of your time.'

Jade sighed with a bored look on her face,she opened the door wider for her husband to come in.

' I know I've said this before but have I am really really sorry. I was stupid and dumb. I should not have listened to my mother. I should have been the husband you wanted a needed and I can be that. I just need you to give me one last chance babe and I swear I will never ever do anything like this again.

Maliq was now on his knees begging her. She grabbed onto his wrists,helping him standup and as soon as he was standing she walked towards her front door and opened it for him to leave without uttering a word. Maliq sighed and walked out of her home with her shoulders dropped. With all hope lost.

' so did she talk to you?'

'No dad, she kicked me out of her house after I was on my knees begging and pleading with her. You know when she helped me standup I thought I was going to get a hug or something but she kiced me out.'

His father looked at him

' Maliq she feels betrayed that you slept with another woman and possibly got her pregnant. Then you kept this a secret from her and She had to find out from your mother. The woman who for some reason does not like her.I am pretty sure she had made peace with your mother's inacceptance of her but you betrayed her and that my son is hard for her to deal with at the moment.'

' How do you understand all this.?!'

' It takes years, time and patience to understand women and listening to what she's not saying.'

Maliq grabbed his car keys after speaking to his father who only made him feel worse about his marriage. He tried to leave his parents house while his mother was nowhere in sight but as soon as he grabbed onto the front door handle he heard the voice he had come to despise.

' Tacia!'

'Were you just going to leave without checking on Tacia and the baby.'

His mother inquired with a shocked expression in her face which he did not understand as to why she was shocked since she knew he wanted nothing to do with Tacia and the baby,she claimed was his.

' you have done that already mother,why should I?'

His mother was shocked when he spoke back.

' Maliq! I Am your mother,you do not talk to me like that.'

Tacia ran over to Maliq as soon as he tried to walk out,she gripped on his upper arm after he slightly opened the door. As soon as he turned Tacia attached her lips to his.

' and here I was thinking I was harsh earlier.'

Maliq pushed a pregnant Tacia away from him not looking to see if she was okay and ran after Jade who had his son in her arms and was gracefully trying to walk away but the stinging sensation in her eyes made it hard for her.Maliq tried to stop her but she would not hear him,she was done.
