HAVE A BABY BY ME....

'Maya for four years of our marriage you've been promising me a baby and every year it's a different excuse and frankly I'm tired of it.'

Maya sat in front of her vanity mirror doing her make-up as her husband spoke. Once again they were arguing about the fact that her husband was ready for children and she was not. They had been married for eight years and for half of that eight years he had been asking for a baby. First it was that she wanted to concentrate on her business then her business grew and she said she could not handle a child and a growing business. They would try in a year but now she was not ready.

'Raymond it's been three years and we both agreed that when we are ready we will work on our family,not when you are ready.'

'It's always about you. WHAT THE FUCK ABOUT WHAT I FUCKING WANT! TIME AND TIME AGAIN I HAVE GIVEN YOU WHAT YOU WANTED BUT YOU CAN'T JUST GIVE ME WHAT YOU PROMISED ME!'

Raymond said as he stood towering over her. She sighed and looked up at him. With his five eleven and her 4'12 feet he was a giant compared to her and a buff one at that.

'Okay I do not want a child,there! are you happy now?!! A baby that I will have to carry for nine months,breastfeed,change poop and wake up to it's cries in the middle of the night I am sorry Ray but I can't handle all that. My career will be put on hold to raise childern. My mother did that and look where she is now a single mother of four while her husband is living it up with an educated woman. '

Raymond raised his hand as Maya closed her eyes annticipating the last thing she ever thought he would do. She jumped when she heard the smash of glass and the bedroom door slam. She opened her eyes to find her favourite vase on the floor in broken pieces and no sign of her husband.

She heard the sound of an engine come to life and the sound of tires screech out of her driveway. She sat down on her bed and sighed before tears started pouring out of her. This was not want they wanted when they started dating. Hell marriage was never in either of their plans but she agreed only cause he asked but she was not about to compromise on this.

'Man I have tried but Maya is so money hungry sometimes I feel like she's married to the money. She told me she don't want a baby.'

Raymond relayed the events of earlier to his friends.

' You see why I like these uneducated woman,when you say jump they ask how high.'

Lawrence his friend said as he blew smoke out of his mouth and rotated the blunt.

'There is nothing wrong with educated women. Kelly is educated but we have a son and daughter. Women are not the same and those uneducated women will have your baby and put you on child support.'

Amadeo laughed knowing that Lawrence was currently being sued for child support.

'Yeah and these educated women don't want to marry your black ass.'

He said laughing before standing up and singing independent women out of tune and attempting to vogue.

'But serioulsy I know a girl who can bust it open for a real nigga and give you an entire football team. '

Amadeo looked at Lawrence like he had grown three heads. Raymond laughed before declining his offer. As much as he wanted a baby he wouldn't cheat on the woman he loved.
