GABRIELLA & BYRON...

Gabriella sighed when she noticed her husband waiting for her in the waiting area. She reluctantly dragged her luggage and headed towards him. She tried to give him a side hug but he pulled her into his arms and squeezed her tightly. For a minute Gabriella was lost in the warm embrace but quickly removed herself from him.

'How was the trip?'

Byron asked as he signalled Maliq who seemed to be in a deep conversation with Jade. Gabriella smiled

'It was amazing.'

She hopped into the car as Byron loaded her bags in the trunk. He got into the drivers seat and fastened his seatbelt,reminding Gabriella in the process who seemed to be mentally preoccupied.

'That's great but please do not leave me alone with the boys for more than a day. They drove me up the wall I couldn't wait for you to get back. If it wasn't for Brianna coming home yesterday I swear I would have sent them to my mom's'

Byron complained and Gabriella couldn't help but laugh. Byron smiled when she heard her laugh,it has been a while since she laughed wholeheartedly.

'I thought Ria was coming home today.'

'Apparently she finished her exams a day earlier and decided to come home.'

Gabriella nodded and they drove home in silence. Byron wondered what was in Gabriella's mind since she kept biting her thumbnail. Which was what she did when in deep thought.

'Gab there's something I need to talk to you about.'

Byron said as soon as he parked the car in their garage. Gabby have him the go ahead by the way she looked at him but before he could continue the kids came running into the garage and opened the passenger door and attacked her with huge and kisses.

'Thank heaven's you're back. We almost died of food poisoning'

Acclaimed her youngest as he hung into her waist and stuck his tongue out to his father who raised his fist to him.

'Junior I don't think your dad was that bad'

The kids continued to tell their mother of how their weekend with their father was. She gave each a gift she brought from her trip and she gave one to her husband too,who seemed shocked tgar she bought her sonething.She also spoke to her daughter after her son's had gone to bed. Who also later went to sleep.

' You said you wanted to talk.'

Gabby stated to her husband who walked in while she hung her clothes from the luggage and threw some into the laundry basket. He sat down on the corner of the bed and nervously started playing with his fingers,which did not sit well with Gabriella.

'I wanted to apolo-'

'Don't apologise for something you enjoyed doing Byron.'

She said cutting him off

'I did not enjoy it,I fel-'

'Do Not! Give Me That! You had an affair for eight months,eight fucken months and you're going to sit here and tell me you did not enjoy it. That's bullshit and you know it.'

Gabby said through gritted teeth,trying not to shout and alarm the kids.

'I want us to separate,I need space and time to think...'

'What?!'

'You can use one of the spare rooms,until we can talk to the kids.'

'Are you serious?!.'

' Do you think this is something to joke about.'

' Fine whatever helps e forgive me.'

' Don't hold your breath.'

Byron felt defeated,he believed there was no way he could make up for this and maybe there was no way he could fix this.
