HE WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS...

'Gabby I did this dumb test before and it was negative,how many times must I tell you that I am barren.'

Jade

'Okay then explain the increased appetite.. the weight gain,the mood swings and tenderness of the breasts?'

Gabby looked at her friend with concern.

'I have an increased appetite because I am stressed and the weight gain is due to the increased appetite. I have always been moody and my breasts are always tender when I'm about to have my periods.'

Jade explained. Yesterday's argument long forgotten.

'If I am wrong I will never bother you about this again but please take the pregnancy test.'

Gabby pleaded and Jade reluctantly grabbed the stick from her friend and headed towards the bathroom. Gabriella had woken up early to go buy a pregnancy test after not being able to sleep due to their argument. She had been watching her friend and had noticed a slight change in her normal behaviour. She understood what the doctor had told Jade but miracles did happen, atleast she believed.

' Here! Done! Hope you're happy.'

Jade threw the test onto Gabbys lap,who jumped up more frightened than disgusted. It was dripping wet and she knew it was done purposefully.

'Eeuuww! Jade this thing has your pe-'

Gabriella shrieked while looking at the reading on the stick. Roxy and Sunny ran into her bedroom when they heard her scream for joy.

'THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!! I knew it! I knew it!'

Gabby and the other girls jumped up,pretended to be slain in the spirit after reading the stick. Meanwhile Jade had gone down to the beach irritated by her bestfriend refusing to accept the doctors diagnosis,she was unaware of what was going on in their guest house and her friends made a promise not to say anything until they got home.

'Where have you been?'

Roxy asked Jade as she walked into the guest house. Jade looked at her wondering why she had a huge grin on her face but decided against asking her about it.

'Oh.. Jade your back.'

Sunshine had the same smile on her face but also looked like she was hiding something. Jade asked them what was going on and they quickly replied nothing before retreating to their designated bedrooms.

'That's weird'

'What?'

Gabby asked,walking into the living area with a bowl of cereal, Jade who stood facing the rooms her two friends had dissapeared into.

'Nothing!'

Jade replied with an attitude making Gabby kiss her teeth after Jade had dissapeared into her own room probably to get her bags packed.

' You ladies are leaving already?'

Pharoah and David walked up to Kelly and her three friends as they stood waiting for Gabby and the others and an uber to drive them to the airport.

' Yes,we have families and work to get to.'

Maya replied with a slight attitude. She didn't care much for these business partners,they made her uncomfortable. Why, she could not answer but maybe every male just irritated her. It could be the pregnancy.

'Well I guess we will see each other another time. Maybe back in your side of the world.'

Pharoah stated as his phone rang and he walked off answering it. The rest of the women walked up to the reception and they each exchanged goodbyes and contact details. Promising to stay in touch and visit each other when they can. Each woman left the resort refreshed,with a different persepective on how to brave the stormy weather ahead of them in their relationships..
