Aalam grabbed both her hands as they sat in her hospital room. She on the bed and he on the chair next to her.

' Hey, let's forget about that. God has given us a new lease on life and love. We should live everyday like it's our last. I love you Rox.'

Roxy said placing her hand on his chin before he kissed her.

Byron was interrupted by the ringing of his cellphone. His stomach dropped when he read the caller id and excused from himself from Gabby. He went into the bedroom balcony where Gabby could clearly see him and his body language and hand gestures suggested that it was an important call. He came back into the bedroom twenty minutes later with red sparkly eyes.

' They finally found him.'

' Finally found who?'

Gabriella asked confused and he smiled.

' They found our son. They found Amias.'

The positive pregnancy test fell onto the floor as Gabby jumped for joy and hugged her husband. Tears fell down both their cheeks a they held each other.

Jade slowly walked into her husband's childhood home fearing the worst. Her mother inlaw had called her asking to see her and asked her not to tell Maliq. She had reassured her that she meant her no harm but really needed to talk to her.

' Jade you're here.'

Jade was taken aback first by that she called her by her actual name and the state she was in. She looked so frail and weak. The woman who stood in front if her looked night like the feisty always well dressed and up to date woman she had known since she could talk.

' Momma wh-what's wrong? Are you okay? What am I saying you don't look to good. Did something happen?.'

Due to her shock and surprise at her appearance she could not help throwing question after question.

' Stop looking so shocked. I'm human after all. Now sit down.'

Her helper walked as they sat side by side on the love seat. Jade was uncomfortable and it showed.

' Relax I don't bite. I called you here because I need you to help me talk to my babies.'

Her mother inlaw continued.

' Jade I'm dying. I have severe coronary artery disease. I've had it for years now. It's from my father's side of the family. Last week I had a heart attack and the doctor told me that I did not have long to live. I wanted to apologise for my behaviour towards you.'

Jade could not believe what she was hearing. Out of all the the strong women she knew, her mother inlaw was the strongest. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she failed to hold them back. The older Mrs Great wiped younger Mrs Great's tears away.
