Kiss Me (Ed Sheeran inspired)

"Niall you're early" you smiled opening the door to your best friend Niall. You two had only recently become friends but you had already learnt so much about each other and became close really quickly.

"Sorryyyyyyyyy i was just really excited about our movie night. I brought snacks!!!" He said excitedly, you laughed "well then you'd better come in."

Niall sat on your couch making himself comfortable, "I'm just going to get some bowls to put these snacks in" you said walking towards your kitchen. "Alright" Niall called after you.

You made your way back into the room, "so what are we watching?" You asked.
"Well I know you love chick flicks and don't get me wrong i actually like them at times too, but I thought we could watch a comedy today?" He asked hopefully. You shrugged your shoulders "sounds good to me" you replied. "Great" Niall said going up to put the DVD in.

He came back and sat on the couch next to you, he pulled you a little closer to him and put his arm around your shoulder, you were a little shocked at first but then snuggled in to him, he ran his fingers through your hair, soothing you, when you glanced at him he seemed perfectly normal smiling watching the TV screen, a few laughs leaving his mouth every time a funny comment was made in the movie.

"You're staring" Niall chuckled looking at you, taking you out of your little day dream and started blushing "oh was i? Sorry" Niall laughed again and began to talk "well......?"

You furrowed your eyebrows "well what?"
"How did you find the movie?" He asked. What, you didn't even realise the movie had ended "erm...it was great" you smiled. Niall smirked "you're a terrible liar y/n".
You blushed even deeper realising Niall's arms were still wrapped around you. "Is something wrong you're...blushing?" Niall asked eyebrows raised. "Er no, nothing I'm not blushing I'm just really warm" you quickly said. Niall then seemed to realise you two were still in close proximity and let go, which sent chills down your spine, you had all of a sudden felt cold once he let go.

"You got a cd in that music player?" Niall asked pointing towards your little radio. You nodded your head "yeah I was listening to Ed Sheeran earlier on" you replied. Niall nodded his head "gotta love a bit of Ed" he chuckled and walked over to press play, soon enough Kiss Me came on and Niall turned up the volume, "this is my favourite" he stated whilst walking towards you.

Once he was in front of you, he reached his hand out, you looked up to him confused, "take my hand" he simply said. You placed your hand in his as he gently pulled you off of the couch and in to the middle of the room. He placed one hand on the small of your back and then intertwined your fingers with his other hand.

You both stayed their swaying along to the music, gazing into each other's eyes, when looking into Niall's eyes it brought you joy, comfort, happiness, safety and most of all love.

Niall placed his lips next to your ear and sang the lyrics in your ear

"I'm falling for you y/n" he then leant in and gently pressed his lips against yours, igniting your body, making you feel something you've never felt for anyone before, love.
