FAITH POV: Today is the day we officially adopt Dylan. I just pray that woman who claims to be doesn't show up here. I will just lose it if she does. We arrive at the courthouse with Dylan. We were going to ask him about his so called grandmother but decided not to. We wanted to wait to see if anything would happen and so far nothing. "Hey Jeff" "Tim, Faith.. Dylan Nice to see you all today" "You too" "so you ready?" "yes!" "alright let's go in" We arrived in and we were taking the judges room. It's not really a case that takes place in the courtroom. It's just me, Tim, Dylan and the judge. "Alright so I see you are both here to finalize the adoption of Dylan Donahue" "yes we are" "Wait" Dylan said We looked over at him. "What is it son?" "nothing I just want to tell my new parents, how happy I am they are adopting me. I love them so much and I have one more request" "What's that son?" "I will tell you after" we laughed "Alright then, the judge said and then proceeded with signing everything. "Alright congratulations! Dylan is officially your son" Tim and I hugged. I also breathed a sigh of relief. "So do you want to tell us now?" "yes, well I'd like to.. Have your last name" "are you sure you want to change your name?" "yes I do! Mom, dad" Tim looked over at me. He's never called him dad before. He called me mom a couple of times. I can feel the tears in my eyes. "Alright then, we will get your name changed" He smiled "Judge can that be done today?" "sure. I will do it right now" He said and had it typed up. After about 15 minutes he came back. "Alright son, you are officially known as Dylan McGraw" "Thank you sir" We then got up and left to go home. "Dylan thank you" "for what?" "Taking our name" "I wanted to" "Well I'm glad, I was actually going to talk to you about that tonight" 'really?" "yeah really?" Tim asked also "yes!" "I say this calls for a celebration. We are going out to dinner tonight" "Cool!" Dylan said
